"This was one of my first legit airsoft guns, let me say this is a great gun. You are paying not enough for it on evike. the rate of fire is amazing, distance is good even though it is a cqb gun.
Pros:
Great ROF
FPS is good for indoor fields
Okay range
nice ris
Cons:
Fps is low for outdoor use
Overall this is a great gun to buy for $175

"Cons:
-the stock I got was horrible. it was rusty and cant slide at all. I have to oiled it and try to make it works. very cheap stock (with cheap recycle plastic material)
-it is true that you might need 2 people to change battery
-loud noise from gear when shooting --_ decreasing the reliability and life span.
-inconsistent speed (but fast)
-Mag is horrible, I have to turn the dial up very often. (very annoying during cqb)
-quite light around 6 pound
Pro:
-FAST (but inconsistent) : 400-425fps
-cheap
-comes with 9.6V
-lipo ready.
I got what I paid. I got it for $138 tax included, and this is a good gun for the price. This is a made-in-China gun and you cant hide the fact that it does feel cheap in your hand.

"I got this gun last week and it was pretty nice. The full metal body was a very nice addition. I did have issues with the LE stock. For some reason mines did not want to work. I tried pushing on the lever and nothing would happen. I ended up using a small crowbar to get it to the position I wanted. Also the mag that came in the box ended up being broken so it would feed one bb then stop. I only could fire the gun upside down so I can't talk about accuracy. I'm still waiting to hear from Evike to see what can be done about the mag. But on the bright side the gun did come with a 9.6v battery so I can live with what I got. With the money I saved by getting this gun I can spare some change to get a few new mags.
Pros:
Full Metal
9.6v Battery
Good Sling
Nice Trademarks
Good ROF
No hand guard wobble
Cons:
Broken Mag
Hard to use Stock
Excessively Loud
Mag a little wobbly
Overall great gun for the price except for a few minor problems

"I purchased this AEG about a week ago for $180 on sale, which I thought was a really good price, but I looked today to write a review and I saw it drop another $20 to $160. The AEG was already at a very good price for how great it is. I have only used it a few times so far but it works very well.
Pros:
Full metal
Colt Logos
Package (decent batteries, charger, hi-cap mag, AEG, Sling)
ROF
FPS ~420
Accurate
Price?
Cons:
Battery hard to fit in handgaurd
Dust cover stopped openning after pulling charging handle/ no fake bolt (not fixed yet)
Overall the gun is a very nice intermediate Full metal AEG for a great sales price!

"This is a pretty nice gun. It shoots fast and hard and will not let you down. I have made a couple of modifications to my gun, adding a longer tight bore inner barrel and a barrel extension. It looks BEAST. The accuracy is amazing with these MODs, especially with .25g bb's which I would HIGHLY suggest for this gun. Another modification I would Highly suggest is a new full mettle hop-up system. The one in there has a tendency to not be too great. There is one other problem which I don't like, which is that it is pretty front heavy, especially with the PEQ box. I would suggest getting the crane stock version. Other than that the gun is solid and reliable.
Happy Hunting!

"Ive had this gun since its release so here's my review..
Gun..Very good.shoots fast and straight (with the right battery). But. this gun is performs very good but there are a few problems with it.
will not accept certain m4 mags and Pmags(you knew it was a 416)--Echo 1 mids-flawless feeding
set screw in pistol grip tends to loosen alot
stock cover is made of soft plastic and will break easily
front sight is wobbly and suspect

"The JG 614 (HK 416) is a heavy hitter right out of the box. Mine came firing 400 FPS and with a longer tightbore barrel and outer barrel extension I was able to bring it up to 425 (our field limit). Over time the FPS has mellowed out to about 410 but it's still a very accurate gun with the longer barrel. I highly recommend using heavy weight BBs with this AEG (.27g or higher). The hop up unit on this gun will send lighter BBs flying upward.
There's some wobble on the RIS and Stock when you first get the gun, but this is easily fixed with some tightening and maybe a bit of electrical tape if needed. It's just my opinion, but you shouldn't need to do any upgrades on the gearbox. I have never even opened the gearbox with more than 10000 rounds through it and it's still never hand an issue.
Pros:
-Fairly easy to upgrade
-Great FPS and power
-Great range
-Battery in stock to balance weight of the RIS system
Cons:
-Plastic upper and lower receiver (rest of the gun is metal, but the plastic body holds up okay)
-Wobble on RIS and Stock (fixable)
-Hop-up dosen't work great with lighter BBs.
-Flash Hider is heavily glued onto the gun. To upgrade the outer barrel with an extension you will really have to apply some torque or loosen the glue with heat.
Recommended Upgrades:
-Tightbore barrel
-9.6v battery for Crane Stock (or LiPo for newer version)
-.27g or .28g BBs

"I really like this gun, but for some reason I experience a lot of misfiring. I think the magazine connection could be part of the reason. Magazines tend to fall out randomly. Also, midcaps don't work on mine. kinda frustrating since I bought several for use as spares.
When it is shooting, its totally awesome.

"Just got this gun a week ago and WOW THE gun shoots 400fps solid. It is a very sturdy gun but the only complaint that I have about this is that when I got this gun the bucking in the hop-up was not in so i had replaced it along with a G3 barrel and silencer. Now i have a 10.8 battery in the gun just make sure if u do this shoot your gun on bursts. Your motor will not last long if you hammer on your trigger. all in all great gun

"i got this gun a few days ago, and i love it, worth every penny, shoots great, feels great, perfect for any HK jockey on a small budget (compared to TM's), but, alas, some things on it suck, the front sight won't flip down for me, so i have to go at it with a screwdriver, and my battery, or charger, are retarded, because it wont hold a charge for more than about 20 shots now :( but all and all it is a PERFECT gun, solid as a rock, the only wobble is the stock (what do you expect, retractable stock :\) and the handgaurd/RIS is alittle wobbley

"depends if u have the full stock or the folding stock ... i have the folding stock so i can only tell u for that one ... but right now im using a stock battery that came with the gun which is a 8.4 1100 mah ... i mean if u wanted to u could get a stronger batter but there is not much of a point unless u got a battery that is a lot bigger ... hope that helps

"This was my second gun purchase and this mp5 was really a beast. It put out around 340~360 fps it is full metal and under $160. The rails are rock solid and the stock is ok a little wobbily but it is retractible so all of them are like that. The mags feed flawlessly and are of metal quality too. Overal a very good gun for the price.

"DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERY OR CHARGER.
I ordered three of these guns after doing some research. I looked at lower-priced options, but they didn't come with batteries, which would significantly increase the overall cost. I'm new to airsoft and I'm not quite ready to be spending extra money on upgraded batteries and chargers. So I went with this package in large part because it comes with batteries. Upon arrival, none of the three guns contained a battery or charger. It says clearly in the description that it comes with a battery, and there are multiple reviews stating as much (see quotes below). Also, it only comes with one magazine (I'm not quite as worried about that). The box it comes in indicates it comes with a battery, a charger, and an "extra mag."
Evike needs to be more clear in the description. They have, fortunately, offered to send me some "basic" batteries with chargers, so I am thankful that they are making the situation right. But that also means more waiting, too.
From the description: "Your favorite all time most popular JG full metal M4 with the enhanced black metal gearbox now comes with "COLT" licensed receiver and 8.4V battery pack for one awesome great price!"
From a couple of reviews:
"...It’s wired too the front in the hand guard the battery it comes with is a tight fix but it works..."
"Pros
High rof
All metal except for pistol grip, handguard and buttstock
Came with a 9.6 volt battery and charger
Two mags"

"This is my review for the (Cybergun) Colt M4.
Personally I wouldn't recommend this M4 to anyone that wants a cheap M4 that performs better than it looks. if you are looking for a affordable m4 platform that performs well and you dont need a metal body just go with a G&G Combat Machine M4 Platform (https://www.evike.com/products/30418/)
Pros:
The Distance Is Decently Far (Maybe 75 ft of consistency)
Body Is Of Good Quality
Magazines Is Bareable
Cons:
Hop Up Blows (Vibrations Move It Some Much)
Magazine Is Wobbly
Curves BBs (May Just Be The Crappy Hop Up)
I Could Go On About This Gun But It Wont Change The Fact That I Wouldnt Recommend This Gun. Especially If You Plan To Run 11.1v Lipos Even Though It Claims Lipo Ready.
Either Save Your Money For A Better Quality Gun (250+) Or Just Get A Combat Machine To Play With For Now. The Metal Body Is The Only Winning Factor And Its Not Even Worth It.

"!=DO NOT BUY THIS GUN UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND ALMOST TWICE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THE GUN COST ON UPGRADES=!
I bought this rifle and have spent well over 400 USD to bring it up to just above standard for airsoft guns. Where do I start? The gun chronos at 265 FPS out of the box. The internals seriously need upgrades and the wiring is sub par. This gun is NOT ready for a lipo. It will eventually kill itself trying to work with a lipo. I've had to upgrade almost everything internally on the rifle to get it to perform quality. Out of the box, like I said, it shoots at 265~ FPS. It fires very weak. It sounds almost as if it's dying when it fires. The accuracy is terrible. The low FPS really kills this gun for me. I also had to completely replace the outer barrel to put a quad rail on this rifle. There is some type of block that prevents you from moving the front sight back at all.
Pros:
Really nice trades
Realistic weight
Solid feel
Great overall build
Realistic look
Cons:
Almost everything internally
Doesn't have any form of one point sling mount
Selector switch has a weak click
Needs SOOOOO many upgrades
Not actually Li-Po ready
Odd barrel
