"This is not exactly that new. Echo1 already imported it a few weeks ago and sold out! It is a great gun for the price. DBOY is the OME of this Scar re-branded by many USA importer. Easy field strip, full metal receiver, great performance!

"Looks like a great SCAR, especially for the price. I can't figure out a reason for the low cost, as most full metal SCARs are quite expensive.

"Just got it yesterday and it's a decent gun.
Pros
- Looks nice
- Has a Folding stock
- Flip up sights are nice
Cons:
- Very light (techically a pro, but too light for realism)
- Magazine is a little hard to get in
- Stock took a while to figure out, and the spring in the stock came off
- Flashhider is plastic
Info
- Not a quick change spring
- Body is polymer (yes, ik it says that)
- Shoots at 400 FPS with .25 rounds, not 350-370
Overall a decent gun
- Body is all polymer (

"This is a decent gun. Had it for only a couple weeks though and bbs started jamming after shooting 50-75 rounds. Wouldn't recommend this to someone who is trigger happy. Other than that though the gun is great. I've ran it into the wall pretty hard a few times and it barely even scratched.

"Feels good and sturdy, but I wish I got the model with the metal upper receiver. On full auto mode the gun will often shoot a couple blanks even though there is plenty of BBs coming from the mag. Battery and connector gets stuck sometimes. Otherwise, a good buy for the price!

"I got the AGM SCAR on 10/31/12. I am impressed. With the stock 8.4 volt battery, it has a slow ROF but with a 9.6V, it is INSANE. The FPS is very good, shooting around 380 with the stock barrel (which is 285mm, btw) and about 400 with a 6.03 TBB (363 mm). I put a silencer to cover up the extra length of the barrel. The only flaws with this gun are that the stock, as with all SCARs, is flimsy; the pot-metal gear selector broke on the first week of having the gun, I can't find a decent replacement; there was a small plastic part that was cracked on the reciever (only a cosmetic issue, due to rough shipping); and the right-side rail on the foregrip is of an odd size, not allowing me to mount any flashlights or lasers. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me. Overall,
Pros:
Great FPS for field (which I play)
Great ROF with 9.6V battery
Storage compartment in stock (for battery, but can fit smaller things in there)
HEAVY! 10 pounds with a RDS, laser, veritcal grip, silencer, and flashlight (I like heavy guns)
Full metal upper, high quality nylon fiber/polymer lower
It's a SCAR
Cons:
Broken fire selector switch
Odd-size picatinny rails on right side, not allowing me to fit anything with a pin, only flat-base mounts
Broken plastic part due to bad shipping (UPS' fault, not Evike's)
Screws on stock strip easily, causing wobble

"This gun is pretty awesome. When i first got it i hooked up the battery and it had an impressive trigger response and a pretty decent ROF for a stock rifle. I also liked how sturdy the rails and body were, even though the lower receiver is plastic and upper is metal. The only problem i can see is that the stock is very flimsy and it pinches the exposed wires to the gear box, but other than that this gun is great for players on a budget.

"I have owned this gun for almost two years now, so here I go...
This gun is an epic starter gun. With high rate of fire and FPS, my friends were terrified of this weapon for the longest time. Its all metal, and when I say that, I mean ALL metal. Ive taken this gun apart several times, and I haven't found a single plastic piece. After installing a tight bore barrel and a high torque motor, I couldn't be happier.
Now the downside: The internals
Right off the bat, this gun is NOT upgradable, gearbox wise. Dboys has made a special gearbox for this rifle, and DOSE NOT sell replacements. Long story short, no other gearbox fits in this gun, other than the one that comes with it, so if it breaks, you're replacing the entire gun.
ALSO: To keep the two safety in synch, a gear runs through both sides of the gearbox, sealing it shut. If you buy this gun, do not plan on purchasing gearbox upgrades, because its not possible. Keep in mind, this gear is VERY weak, DO NOT FORCE THE SAFETY ON THIS GUN. IT WILL SNAP. Just remember to be gentle while changing firing modes, and you will be fine.
On the upside, you most likely won't need to ever upgrade the gearbox. After mine finally wore out and i was able to check around inside, I found no metal shards, broken parts, or even signs of strip-age on the piston. This gun is tough.
TL/DR: This gun is great. If you purchase it, don't plan on upgrading the gearbox. For less than $200, its a great starter gun, and i recommended it for anyone planning on adventuring into the world of high performance AEG s.

"Overall nice gun. I mean to carry a dboy name its really good actually, the only thing honestly i saw wrong with it well i guess a few is the folding stock takes a min or two to get used to. Also the battery is easyest to put it when the butt stock is extended all the way for some of you guys who have that problem. Also to the guy with the flash hider problem, these are counter-clockwise treads so make sure your turning it the "wrong" way should come right off with alil persuation. The whole Full Metal bit was a dissapointment when i got it the lower receiver is ABS material. But the real deal might be the same way seems that all guns now a days even real steel have some sort of plastic lol. Anyway good gun for the price, imma M4 person myself but i do make an exception for this gun.
Pro's: Heavy weight, fast ROF with 9.6 v "provided with a 8.4v in box" Easy hop up system,
Comes with a brrel extention if you seem not to like the short barrel version.
Con's: Not fully metal, doesnt offer any kind of customization as far as different rail systems, different stock, yah know ect ect, none of the markings that are on the gun in the pic " 5.56 cal" are not on the gun. Also the upper receiver is gold finshed an not actual tan.
Hope i helped everyone. Thanks

"great gun for a great price
pros
good weight
best accuracy of any gun out of the box ive ever shot
comes with barrel extension
nice velocity
feels very close to the real rifle
everything that is really metal on the fn mk16 is metal on the dboy scar
cons
very hard to work on (not for the novice) the lower reciever must be pried open to remove the gearbox
not very compatible with m4 gearboxes (air nozzel is a little longer)
stock hop up broke very quickly (replace with the echo 1 scar hop up)
colors are WAY off
stock wont fit a small 9.6v block type
after a few weeks of play i decided to throw in the echo 1 hop up Systema 6.04 Tight Bore High Performance Straight Inner Barrel 460mm ( G3), it stuck out past the barrel extension by about 2-3 inches and a silencer covered it just fine. it shoots even further and more accurate now. after a final paintjob with some flat tan paint its very skirmishable.
