"I just got this yesterday and it's the second GBB pistol that I own, and let me just say the pictures on Evike don't show it justice. I got the black/Green Gas version and it looks so much better in person. Pros: looks great, feels great, nice recoil, decently accurate, trades are nice, it's loud. Cons: the slide sometimes will not lock back on the last round but I think that problem will resolve it self in time.

"This is an excellent 1911 for sure. Not the most accurate gun I own but it's an airsoft pistol . Super realistic great weight good hard kick and is the most reliable gun that I own and I own alot. Chose the black one over Tokyo Marui 1911 and I'm so sure I made the right choice I just bought the silver one (i plan to turn into a Vincent Vega from pulp fiction replica with mother of pearl buffalo nickel grips...it's going to be looking real sharp.) Also I bought the co2 version but then i went and got a green gas magazine as a backup and they both work fine.

"I just got this gun today, and holy. It is amazing. The gas efficiency i got like 5-6 mags full, recoil is crazy good, it sounds awesome, and its weight is super good. only downside it doesn't seem super accurate after about 50 yards but I wouldn't worry too much about that

"I bought the silver CO2 model. It's my favorite gun in my collection, and I'll be buying a second one soon. Nice handling, good kick, rollmarks look good. The one warning I can give is never force rack the slide with the safety on. Certified bad time.

"Quality weapon, looks good, feels good, got nice kick to it. Ain't got no complaints. It has threads, 11mm+ from the looks of 'em; just take care with the orange tip, it breaks easy. Overall, very good weapon.

"Beautiful 1911. Engraved trades, well built, TM compatible, upgradeable, very efficient on green gas. However, I had accuracy issues out of the box and plan to replace the HopUp bucking and barrel. Even so I’d say a it’s definite buy.

An Incredible gun with incredible aim!

Pros-
-Light weight, but heavy enough to feel really good!
-Good aim!
-Easy to load!

Cons-
-When you first get the gun, the slide will go all the
way back even when your not out of BBs! It’s not a big problem and does fix itself over time!
-When you shake it you can hear a tiny rattle of the slide!

All together I would totally recommend this gun!

"What is the stronger the Co2 or the Green Gas version? Or same fps? Another cybergun 1911 offer 370fps, i guess the high power gas valve pumping up the speed.

"Bought this as my first pistol and was overall very happy with it. It has a very hard kick and good range for a pistol. Gas efficiency is good too, at about 50 shots per Co2 canister. It looks very good. The inner barrel is a bit wobbly but it doesn't effect the guns performance. At about 2000 or so shots, one of the magazines had trouble getting all the way into the gun. This happened a few times but not often, it may have just been my mistake. Just in case isn't, I was able to get the magazine in by sliding back the slide and pushing the mag inside.

Overall a good gun and worth your purchase.

"I own the silver Green Gas model and let me say that the pictures on Evike website do not make justice to this pistol. Is way better looking than you see it here. Full metal all over, even the magazine. I just love this replica.

Green Gas efficiency decent got 30 BBs through 1 magazine
Racking gun side ways sounds like a jacket zipper or as if grit got into the slide making a unpleasant grind sound and this was right out of the box too (might just be my replica)
Magazine catch on empty magazine works only half the time but does work when firing BBs (might just have to break it down more)
Whole gun feels like pot metal (cheap aluminum)
Flimsy recoil spring

Overall it’s okay gun for me.

"This thing is great! The blowback on it feels amazing too and I haven't had a malfunction yet thankfully but I dont expect to see one anyways. The only thing that bothers me is the outer barrel is pretty wobbly but that's minor

"Bought it when it is on sale and I googled to study the AW Custom but don't know it is a up scale WE tech. Anyway, the gun looks great other than a small dent on the top of the slide. The dent is small but deep. I guess it was caused by the CNC machine or worker in the production. I contacted Evike support, sent photo and got RMA label to ship it back. After two days, I got the replacement. Well, it is not perfect either. A very small and shallow dent on the right side of the lower frame!! This time, I decide to keep it because I worry I might get a worse one if I go thru RMA again!

It was the second GBB I bought from Evike.com recently. The first one is Cybergun Springfield XDM 4.5. I knew it is OEM by WE Tech (But I want the Springfield licensed). It came with two scratched on the outer barrel and Evike told me that is normal. BUT I never saw that on my 20 years old KSC MK23 and Western Arms SVI 6"!

Anyway, I will suggest going to the store to make a purchase if you want a chance to inspect the gun to make sure they don't have any cosmetic defects!
