E&L Airsoft Laminated Wood Upper Handguard for AK-74U Series Airsoft AEG Rifles

"This review also applies to the corresponding upper handguard for replacing the ones that came with my E&L Essential AKS74U. Very tight tolerances, which is a good thing as neither handguard wobbles, however the lower one required some filing to fit into the slot in the receiver. But once it fit it’s very secure 0 wobble compared the OEM lower handguard which had a fair bit of wobble.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the stain is actually much better irl than the product images shown. It’s a lot darker and more red, not blonde colored like the ones displayed thankfully as I thought I was gonna have to refinish them myself. Only thing bad I can say is that the finish appears a bit droopy with lacquer streaks on the right side lower handguard crevice which just looks sloppy but it’s not a big deal. Also the finish looks to be applied with something like a foam brush instead of a bristled brush which is not accurate to real AK handguards, but regardless they look solid either way. 4 stars because they look good enough.

I purchased this and the lower handguard and they will not fit on my LCT ak74u. Unless you have an E&L, I would not recommend buying this.
