"This rifle is very good for starting off especially sings and comes with a mosfet and pretty decent trigger, my only complaint is that motor but, once you buy a 40k motor for it this gun is a beast. Overall definitely a good project gun/beginner gun

"The gun is good but the stock is wobbly and the mag lock isn’t that good

"Absolutely love this gun. It shipped 3 days earlier than expected and no damage or anything on the box. Shoots beautifully out of the box and has great quality polymer frame. Very fast trigger response and very accurate even with decent wind. Love this gun and would recommend to anyone for the price.

"As a beginner airsofter this has been the best gun I could have gotten for this price, couple reasons as to why I got this gun was because it came with a charger, battery, grip, and rail covers.
I've had this gun for a couple months now and I do not regret buying this gun.
Straight out of the box the gun shot around 400 fps so I was sad and glad because it was cool that it was somewhat mil-sim ready but sad because the fps was too high for indoor CQB matches. One problem I had that kind of scared me was that the front RIS were a bit shaky but I sent it to a tech and found out it can easily be fixed. Another problem I found was that one of the rail covers would not stay in place but again like the RIS it is easily fixable.
The gun it self shoots pretty accurate as well.
PROS-
*great first gun for people just getting into airsoft
*comes with some dope stuff
*high fps
CONS-
*shaky front rail system
*high fps

"For the originally expensive rifle in airsoft this mk18 is really good, snappy when when connected with 9.6. Over all an amazing rifle, thank you evike.

"Awesome gun. Feels sturdy. Definitely doesn't chrono at 400-430 FPS though. I used both NiMH and a Li-ion batteries and both times it chronod at 390 with 20g bbs at MAXIMUM, so yeah definitely not as strong as the page says. Still accurate though, and a good gun. I recommend.

"Solid rifle after changing the motor, wiring to deans, and upgrading the barrel
Pros:
- Microswitch gearbox (fast trigger response)
- Lots of rail space without needing to buy separate rails
- Can handle an 11.1 out of the box
- Quick change spring
- Licensed by DD (gun comes in a DD box with a card of certification)
- Solid build quality (no rattles or loose mags)
Cons:
- Rail system/buffer tube is not metal
- Comes wired to Tamiya (more of a nit-pick than a con)
- Stock hop-up didn't work out of the box (could have been a dud as another reviewer had no problems, but still not good that it didn't work out of the box)
- Mag fitment isn't the best (mags need an extra push to get in)

"All and all a good starter gun, it's lasted pretty good so far, the only downside is the rail is wobbly and splits apart like the plastic covers so you can't grab it by the foregrip and lift the gun, other that that it's fine, decent gun for starting
