"purchased one of these about a year ago, and in all honesty, it has quickly become one of my favorites.
my only complaints are the silly bcm furniture, the stock is huge, ungainly, chunky, which is not a problem, but it looks and feels really out of place on a short gun with a really thin m lok rail, I ditched the silly stock for a magpul ctr.
honestly same story with the pistol grip, super textured and grippy, but I was not really excited by the angle and im old fashioned and tooless entries do not appeal to me, went with a epm grip to keep the gun streamlined, found a m lok hand stop works best with this rifle and after upgrading the inner barrel and hop up, it is lethal.
I have a genuinely difficult time expressing how much I in fact love this gun.

"I did not get this gun through Evike, rather my local airsoft store.
Gun is very, very good. Shoots well out of the box. It may not even need an upgrade, you may be that satisfied. Gun internals feel very well shimmed. It has a nice sound for an AEG, not too whiny.
One of the best features of this gun is how lightweight it feels. But it still VERY sturdy. Feels like one piece. Weight is balanced, not too forward heavy so its easy to handle with one hand during reloads.
Yes it's 500 bucks but if you love airsoft this is actually a smart buy as no upgrades are needed and the externals are top tier.

"Just got this and overall I am very pleased with the purchase. The licensed BCM trades are so sweet and the stock performance of the Gen 2 Avalon gearbox is right there with all of the other VFC, KWA, Krytac, G&G, G&P, Classic Army and ICS top tier offerings. In my opinion ( Obviously not mine alone) VFC makes the best externals in airsoft. The build quality is absolutely rock solid and the finish is gorgeous. I have multiple M4s with the VFC Avalon internals and I have only had an issue with one. The first batch of the 416 A5s had a crappy mosfet/motor and the gearbox would constantly lock up while it was shooting rapidly in semi. It took a Gate Titan upgrade to get it functioning again and haven't had a problem since but other than that I love VFC products and have no complaints. I loaded .32s in it the day I got it to test the range and it was drilling a man size target easily from 200ft away with the stock hop up. It came shooting right above 400fps( 395-405) so it should settle perfectly for outdoor games. The ROF on an 35C lipo is around 23-24rps and the trigger break is very clean and spams very quickly with minimal overheating of the the motor. So other than a Prometheus inner barrel I will most likely leave the gun stock for awhile. Maybe eventually an new motor and Gate Titan upgrade down the road bit it honestly shoots pretty well as it is.
My only gripes with the gun are the $500 price tag. I get that you pay extra for officialy licensed products but that still is a blow to the wallet. The BCM stock is not my favorite either. The polymer feels cheap compared to the PTS EPS's that I have on all of my other M4 builds and I might just throw another on it because of how much better built and the extra battery storage the EPS has. I was also not happy to see that the BCM metal flash hider is painted orange. Why couldn't they just throw a cheap plastic cap on the replica and include the black metal BCM bird cage muzzle device In a seperate baggie? I already ordered a replacement because I want the BCM logo on an all black metal flash hider and painting the original would look like a** (OCD will not let me even try too) And last but my biggest issue is the gun is wired to Tamiya. It's 2022 guys...Deans connectors should be a no Brainerd on any AEG that retails for over $300. I can switch it out easily but it's a hassle nonetheless.
The best feature other than the BCM trades everywhere is how lightweight this replica is. I added a G&G 1.5-4× short dot with AIM cantilever QD mount. A BCM foregrip, BCM MLok QD sling mount and a SF scout repro to mine and with a battery and full magazine the gun barely weighs 8lb. By far the lightest M4 in my primary rifle arsenal. I couldn't deduct a full ☆ because in the end the gun is just so sexy. Even with the few minor cons of the BCM MCMR taken into consideration I still absolutely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a lightweight awesome performing BCM replica and doesn't mind shelling out the money. 9.5/10 here. Can't wait to field it this season!

"Slimmest handguard I’ve ever held!
I thought the BCMs were maybe overrated but finally picked this up to see if it was worth the hype - it certainly is!!!
It felt really nice to hold and was surprisingly lightweight yet sturdy. The finish is this nice rough matte texture that is similar to VFC’s MK18 MOD 1 and G&G’s SR15.
There was no rail wobble or receiver wobble. As others had mentioned the BCM stock did wobble but I’m sure this could be fixed easily or you can always swap out the stock if it bothers you.
Overall very impressed, I guess I’m a BCM fan now!
