Born from the idea of a soldier being able to resupply behind enemy lines and operators being able to leave a smaller footprint to conceal their presence, the SR-47 combines the familiar M4/M16 with the legendary 7.62x39mm cartridge used by the AK-47. The SR-47 was designed to allow operators to utilize munitions acquired on the field from the enemy in situations where resupply is not an option. Additionally the SR-47 has the added benefit of sounding like a typical AK-47 and not an M16 which helped mask an operator's presence as well as being able stay covert by not leaving any evidence such as casings from a NATO weapon.
The CMMG MK47 Resolute and Banshee series of Pistols and Rifles were designed from the ground up to merge the legendary AK47's cartridge to the familiarity and modularity of the M16. While most 7.62x39mm AR's are mere conversion kits, the Resolute and Banshee are specifically designed to seamlessly work on standard AK47 magazines that rock in like a standard AK47 to eliminate the need for specialty or proprietary mags.
The CYMA MK47 is a hybrid gun that at its core is an AR15/M4 platform based on the venerable Tokyo Marui Version 2 Gearbox but with a sprinkling of AK flair. "9.9 out of 10. Shoots perfect straight out of the box. Incredibly snappy trigger, perfect feeding. You are paying for a good airsoft gun, but you are receiving an amazing one instead. It feels incredibly sturdy, as if you could drop this off a bridge and it'll take absolutely no damage. Very aesthetically pleasing from the get go, and only looks better with attachments. The one and only problem I have with this product is the battery connector. The wires connecting the deans plug to the rest of the gun have a flimsy connection, and if you bend them too far one way or the other, you can quickly break the wire. This is easily repaired by soldering the connection back together, but I would have liked to see a more robust system since you have to kind of squeeze a 1200 lipo into the buffer tube, leading to a lot of friction. Overall, I absolutely love this rifle, and would recommend it to anyone, from rookies to professionals, just watch out for those wires and you'll be golden.
