WE-Tech GP1799 T1 Gas Blowback Pistol (Color: Tan / Silver Barrel)

"Build quality is actually very good. Looks great and shoots accurately. Got the stock hopup dialled in at 20 feet and doesn't miss a tennis ball sized target. Shares a 50 rd magazine with my AAP01 and Umarex G18C so I'm pretty happy with that. At about 800 BBs shot so far, doesn't show much wear, just lube it at the right places and will most likely last a long time.

"I was surprised, this We Tech pistol for the price point is incredible. We gets a bad rap for all that goes wrong in Airsoft. The past is the past. I own at least 20 airsoft We Tech pistols and have yet to have a problem. Do problems occur absolutely
Many are owner created. Not to say something might be overlooked but it might be less than two or possibly three percent. Thing can and do happen in this fast paced environment. This 1799 pistol is very accurate and provides enough punch to do what it is supposed to. Good gas efficiency and it functions perfectly quick response in follow up shots and lock back last shot. Perfect better that the price.

"It's good, you can use other airsoft glock mags if you remove the flared mag well.

"Let me start this review by saying that at the time of writing I am a complete noob at gbb pistols.

This gun is 100% the best pistol I have shot for the price. The trigger is very nice about a half a centimeter of slop before hitting a very obvious wall, past the wall is the tiniest bit of slack and the shot coming right after. Mag works how a mag should work, it has a fair amount of weight and is steel. Accuracy is decent anywhere from point blank to 10-15 yards this thing is precise, past that and you can expect a couple of inches of movement. I'm not totally sure about gas efficiency since I tested the pistol in 50 degree weather, all I know is at 50 degrees one charged mag was able to run 40 of so bbs before the pfff sound. The only flaw I can find with this gun is that its not optics ready, that however can be solved with some after market parts, and as this is a Glock 17 made to look like a p99 after market parts are in abundance.

Thanks for listening to me blab and have a good day
God bless -Rubber Duck

"I own six other pistols.
This smokes them all and has not broken yet. Well with the money.

"Love this gun.

Feels more like a glock than a walther in your hands, but there is just something about it that sets it apart from the others in terms of feel. Also fits most g-series holsters.

It felt a little bulky at the base with the flared magwell at first, but I realized you can take that part off with the allen screw located at the base, so now it feels more comfortable in my hands.

Solid gun, i don't this this will disappoint anyone. Worth the price :)

"I bought this pistol as my first sidearm. I'm yet to play a game with it but from just test firing it I can safely say that this pistol will perform very well. I had a issue with the mag but found out later that it was completely my fault. It has a sturdy frame and I don't think this pistol will let me down.

"My first impressions: A good looking gun indeed. A mix between P99 and G17. Hand grip not quite as ergonomic as my FN-9, and I don't think you can change the back strap. The trigger response is good and it has a crisp, snappy slide. The build feels very good quality.
I bought this gun at $115 before a 10% discount was applied. But I wish I would have price matched for $88, as you can find it for that much elsewhere. At that price, this gun would be well worth it. I also chose this gun because the magazines are a great price and very highly rated.
The gun's accuracy is average for a GBB, but I made a few upgrades to improve my groupings from 5 in diameter to 2.5 in diameter, from 25 ft away.
My upgrades so far:
* Angel Custom 6.01 mm tight bore barrel, 97 mm long (the stock barrel is ~93.5 mm long. The 97 mm only shows past the outer barrel about 1 mm when fully cocked back, which is aesthetically fine) - $10 on sale
* Maple Leaf Decepticons Bucking, 60 degree - $10
* RA-Tech I-key (for a more evenly applied pressure on top of the bucking, because the flimsy hop-up plate bends slightly when adjusted, making a left-leaning pressure applied to top of BB) - $6

Future upgrades may include:
* Aftermarket hop up lever arm/base plate - for a sturdier hop up adjustment, and to hopefully straddle the I-key better.
* Hop up adjustment wheel - for a wider range of hop up adjust-ability.
* 8 mm hammer bearing - for a smoother slide return when slowly released.

This gun uses the same internals as the WE G17 and can take all the same standard parts/upgrades as a TM.

The hardshell holster that fit this gun is a bit more expensive but I got a price match for cheaper - Model: H-603672

"Fun, crisp and comfortable gun to shoot. Ive had mine close to a year. Only things ive done to mine are a new bucking and an upgraded recoil spring. Snappy and extremely smooth. Got mine on sale for 88 elsewhere. Wish they made a more glock like slide for it but overall love this.

Side note this does fit the glock 17 (cytac) hard holsters like a glove. We mags, elite force glock 17 mags, and echo 1 timberwolf mags as well as army armament g series mags work flawlessly with this.

"I concur with the above review. ive had this gun for about a year now and its been superb. no leaks in the mags, glock mags work flawless. already shot well out the box but ive put a few upgrades in and its even sharper now! wish I got it when it was 88$...lol...def worth the purchase if you want reliable side arm!!
