"I'm rating this for what it is, and reviewing it on the same merits. To that end- this is NOT a do it all field gun.
What this is though is a very accurate spring gun that hits above its class. I read previous reviews of this gun, and decided on a whim to get one. I expected a cheapish plastic gun similar in quality to the SCAR guns my kids have from the same company.
I was not disappointment.
On the few days I've had the chance to get it out and shoot it, I was able to hit a tree that was as wide as my shoulders at 80 feet 8 out of ten times. The rear sight appears to be adjustable for wind-age, having a screw that actually turns and seems to move the peep sight left and right. There are also two different apertures on the rear peep sight, which I feel is a nice touch. There is no adjustment for elevation- that's all Kentucky.
Compared to a real steel SP-1, the dimensions are pretty much perfect. Weight is obviously less (it's plastic with some metal parts), and I don't think the muzzle device can be replaced, but other than that, it's a helluva little gun.
For anyone wanting a backyard plinker, or a not serious skirmish gun, I don't think you'll go wrong.
One thing to note is that the magazine seems to be proprietary, and I don't think you can get spares. So if you want to have more than 20-ish shots, you'll have to deal with the tactical miraca.
I would give it four stars for the magazine issues (why can't companies just make springers that use regular AEG mags?), but for $55 at time of purchase, I can't really hate on it that much. It is what it is, and what it is is a decent springer not made in China.
Long of the short- it's a good toy you can teach youngsters with, or trust in a backyard skirmish game. Treat it nice, and you should have plenty of fun with it.

"So overall I would give this a 8.5/10.
If you are going in with low expectations and not thinking this is going to be a weekend open play option primary, and instead a backyard plinker or small group games, you will be satisfied.
It is made in the Philippines, not China. I'd say that is a plus.
It is better made than WELL or UK Arms for sure, but still has some barrel flex at the barrel locking nut (plastic will do that).
Don't expect to throw this thing down or fall on in running forward, I would expect something to Crack or break. The screw clam shell design shows its cheapness but atleast the screw holes are hidden well among the replica. The Faux wood is pleasant and semi textured. Definitely not just a smooth or matt plastic texture. The trade marks are a huge plus! The magazine is nice for a high cap, even though you can only get around 14-15 bullets in at a time without the mag follower sticking out at the bottom or bbs being pushed out of the top of the mag.
The matrix Rail mount will not fit because a screw sits on the top of the carry handle. If you file down the rail you can sit it flat and mount scopes. Not hard if you have a file. The price point is perfect. I wouldn't pay any more than 75$ after shipping for this , and it usually comes out to 65-70$ depending on Evike coupons. A good buy and I am pleased. It shoots about 100ft with .28s level and can hit pie pan sized targets. .25s or .23s will give you longer distance . .20s seem to slightly over hop but still good if it is all you got.
I think cybergun is doing well with this licensed springers.
The sling points are plastic. DO NOT USE A SLING with this rifle. With .28s I was getting 195 FPS and .5 jouls. Very low power but FUN.

"Fun! These rifles are full size, and super accurate, lots of fun target practice shooting in the backyard and helps train steadiness of shooting with younger adults.
