" This drum mag is a must have for your M249. I have zero problem with it so far and it is a nice way to stand up your SAW and will provide you the firepower you need.
" The sound control on these have been problematic for me so far but I believe I found the issue. Ordered one of these and the sound control stopped working the first day of use. Contacted Evike and sent it back for testing and exchange. The sound control died on the first game day again with the replacemnt mag. Again auto works but no sound control. I decided to empty all of the bbs out to take a look. When looking inside the bb holding area I could see a couple of connectors just hanging loose. I removed the bottom of the mag and reconnected the connectors. The sound control now works again. The connector was going to the microphone that goes up the second spring into the gun connection. Hopefully this helps. The manufacturer needs to step up their quality control checks.
