Matrix Lightweight Rifle Chest Rig (Color: Black)

I got this thing and decided I would work in it- IE do gardening work while wearing it with full AR mags in it. that's only 6-ish pounds, but the way it carries that six pounds is actually pretty nice. Doping some run tests proved to me that this rig- while limited in scope- is actually punching above it's weight class to a degree.
Lemme splain.
First off, it only carries six mags. Nothing else. to some that would be a HUGE downside. To the guy who just wants a stow and go rig, that's actually a benefit. It's low bulk and mass makes for an easily carried system that can be put into a bag, or the glove box. It really gets that small when it's full up. For airsofting, this is likely about as much as you'll ever need (if you practice proper trigger discipline and fire control- I see you person who just holds the trigger down and hopes you get a hit). Six high cap magazines would net you something like 1800 BBs, and in a package that weighs less than 5 pounds.
The shoulder straps are very flat which won't effect getting your gun in your shoulder. Not having PALS webbing, you're not going to load it with stuff you don't need (like Skittles, chewing gum, or other pogey bait). And being a chest rig, you can put a camel back on and have all the water you're gonna need for that two hour skirmish.
the big downsides for me- I prefer rigs that have cross back straps and not the style this one has. It just feels weird (though I didn't knock off a star for that). The issue that got a star removed was all the VELCRO! It's entirely unnecessary, and took like twenty minutes to carefully cut off. After it was removed though, the camo scheme worked well with my Multicam.
If you want to use this for a SHTF bag for hauling mags, you may want to look elsewhere. the dyes in the fabric glow under IR like they're radioactive. But for airsofting and LARPing, this is a surprisingly good little rig for the price.
