"This is a very nicely designed piece with one major flaw, which I will get to. The mount itself is very solid and when locked open it engages nicely. It holds nicely to the side when folded. The problem with it, and Slong should redesign it for just this reason, is it is not a standard sized buffer tube. That means not all braces or stocks will fit it. It also means it won't accept other standard buffer tubes, which are available in abundance cheaply.

"The machining quality on this is really, really nice, and it's just exceptionally satisfying to fold and unfold when I'm running my MCX setup. I've noticed two fatal flaws in the design however that I can't ignore -

1: The buffer tube is not a standard airsoft AEG buffer tube and cannot be replaced with one.
2: If you screw the adapter on too tightly, it can block you from pressing the stock release button.

I know that some stocks will in fact work with this thing, since I have this mystery bootleg MOE stock I don't remember buying and it fits on the buffer tube, but more often than not it's too thicc for the average airsoft stock. I'm not sure if that means this is sized for real steel or something other than an AR replica stock, but the fact that you can't replace the buffer tube with an airsoft AR tube and fix this really sucks.

Also, it kinda sucks that if you really tighten the adapter onto your gun it becomes a fixed adapter. Not the wisest series of design choices here.
