Matrix Battle Axe Complete Real Oak Furniture Set for AK-74 Series Airsoft AEG Rifles

"Well, guys! 1st off.... The Furniture is for the AK-47 and not the 74.! So the title of the item is misleading.

Pros: Wood is nice and solid. The stain could be changed for correction. But the Wood is nice. No issue fitting the lower foregrip.

Cons: Now the issue I had with the Matrix Battle Axe Real Oak Furniture is the fitting. I bought this furniture for my SRC Full Metal AK-47 that I had in my collection for many many years. The issue that I had was fitting the Gasport and the Stock. The SRC Gasport is rather chunky. SRC made that section for the AK to fit a 9.6v Stick Battery. So what you need to do is some sanding with 80 grit Sand Paper. Take your time while sanding the inside section of the Gasport cover.

Next is the Stock!

You will need to sand the inside of the hole to fit the square section for the battery. Then you need to file down the middle of the stock that fits onto the receiver. You're going to notice 2 prongs on the metal receiver. Just file down the wood section of the stock and keep test fitting till you get it somewhat right.

After that! You got yourself some awesome AK Wooden Furniture. OH! Before I forget. Buy the AK-74 buttpad from Evike. Your old AK Buttpad won't fit the new stock. Unless you want to drill some holes into your stock so the AK-47 butt plate fits. If you decide to go with the AK-47 Butt Plate from the plastic stock. Drill out the holes and find screws that will work for you Stock.
