"The SR-25 is an absolutely awesome gun. The accuracy with which the gun fires is amazing. Even with a basic optic. It makes a great sniper rifle. Especially with the extended (suppressed) barrel. There isn’t a full auto switch like the website indicated, but it’s still an amazing buy. I would highly recommend this rifle.

"I received my SR25 a couple weeks ago!!! It’s amazing! Probably the best out of the box replica I have ever bought.
The construction is solid. Everything seems to be well built. I am running a 11.1 Lipo and the trigger response is amazing. I love that it stops firing after it feeds all the BBs, YES! It feeds every last one. FPS is good out of Box, but I am going to upgrade the spring.
The only 2 things I don’t like. The spring makes “twang” sound. Should be easily fixed with better spring. The last thing is that it has a brass barrel! But once again that’s an easy fix.
If your wanting an AEG SR25, definitely get this replica!!!

"Overall G&G really went the extra step to create a true DMR, unlike the MBR's, this one is hard programmed to be semi-auto only and is unable to utilize the programmable fire modes that most other MOSFET G&G's do. Another big thing with this gun is that IT CAN ONLY USE G&G G2 MAGS!!! The same ones as the MBR, I made the mistake of ordering other 308 mags from brands such as ARES and even the older G&G GR25 308 mags, which did not fit. Double check that you are buying the newer G&G G2 mags which has the feeder on the center rather than the feeder closer to the edge and ONLY the G&G G2 mags because this gun is designed to only take their proprietary mags.
Honestly this is yet another wonderful, yet elusive gun in my collection that has little to no coverage on the in's and out's of this gun. Thankfully, a German airsoft channel by the name of REAPERs Airsoft was able to point out the proprietary mag system and hard lock semi-auto of this gun, shoutouts to him honestly even though he doesn't really have ENG subtitles. HOWEVER, there is a major technical design mechanic that I overlooked when I first played with this gun. I took it out at an indoor CQB field called Gamepod in Antioch, CA. It shot pretty much like a rail gun on that field honestly especially when you utilize heavier bb's, BUT this is where I had overlooked how much of a true DMR that G&G designed this to be: when I was spamming the trigger as if it were a SPEEDQB gun or just as I would on my ARP9 556, this gun burned through 2 batteries within less than an hour of CQB gameplay. I was shocked by this because I had thought there was something wrong with this gun, but in hindsight it was simply just that they tuned this specific SR25 to be used as a precision DMR that is meant for long range and slower tactical engagements, not as some souped up battle rifle like in Tarkov. This why I believe they created the MBR series with dedicated full auto and programming whereas this was refined to replicate the real steel KAC SR25. I plan on using this gun soon at an outdoor field at AOC13 which is in Hollister, CA to see if this same issue arises again.
Other than that, the gun is beautiful, well built, balanced, and fairly priced for how much built and performance you get. The only objective con I can make is that battery space is limited so I suggest getting skinny and thin 11.1v lipo and doing a nice tuck job of the wiring within the stock in order to create more space and avoid any wires getting caught when you adjust the stock.

"The G&G Knights Armament SR25 is a great gun with a couple nice surprises. It shoots great out of the box, has a really balanced feel, and has a great finish throughoit the gun. The stock is spacious for a 11.1 V 2600 mAh battery, and the gun has a quick change spring system. It also is semi locked for people looking for a true dmr build. I changed out the bucking for a G&G green, got a 407mm Madbull inner barrel, and a flat hop nub installed with the stock hopup and it shoots even more beautifully. I highly recommend the gun for people who want to undertake a true DMR role. The only gripe I have is that when I had received the gun the buffer tube was loose and the wires took a bit of work to sort out inside of it to tighten it down, but after 5 mins of moving wires and screwing it tighter it is perfect. It even has a deans to Tamiya connector preinstalled. To see other features I haven't listed you should look into the G&G G2 gearbox videos or other G&G G2 rifles to see full gearbox specs (this one is the DMR spec one like the ones in the 308 MBR rifles)
