"I am very impressed with this gun, it looks and shoots beautifully. The gun has a decent range to it allowing it to still be sued as a sniper rifle, but don’t expect really far distances 400 is its max. Magazines are cheap so that’s a plus and they hold a little more than 25 rounds. Word of advice use .40s and up since anything lighter will have a hard time feeding.
Pros:
Beautiful design
All wood
Decent range
Easy scope attachment

Cons:
Is somewhat light and can feel almost flimsy
Magazines can have a hard time feeding

"So far its a awesome bolt action rifle!

The adjustable hopup works perfectly and ordered the scope mount to make it into an a4 like Barry pepper (Jackson) used in Saving Private Ryan.

Got it for WWI, WWII, Korean War And the Vietnam War reenactment.

"This beast is a ton of fun!!
44” long yet remarkably light and well balanced. I am used to shooting Traditional old black powder muskets and percussion rifles and the feeling of the stock is very similar. The wood is beautiful and has a darker look to it. Everything is solid and tight.
There were a few small scratches in wood where they mounted the bayonet mount and the sling point. No biggie.
Bolt is a bit stiff but I have yet to try lubing. There is no play or wobble with it at all.
This gun was hitting bullseyes out of the box at 60’ with only a slight adjustment to elevation, which is real easy to do.
I haven’t even need to adjust the hopup at all at 60’ (still at default lowest setting). I have shot 100 rounds and there was no misfires or feeding issues at all. Magazines hold 25 rounds but I only loaded 20 each time after hearing other reviews.
All in all, I really like this gun! Real wood, accurate and pretty. Mind you I am not an airsoft field player like you guys. I am just a backyard target plinker, but in doing so I probably end up using it more so reliability is important to me.

"Overall a great gun. Good for WWII loadouts, reenactments, historical milsim events, or just some good ole fashioned airsoft games. Although just a few notes for those who want to buy this...

Magazines: They are not 12 round, they are now 25 round, but they do tend to have feeding issues, so I suggest only putting 20 BBs in each mag

Sling: I have learned from experience that M1 Garand slings aren't compatible with this gun, as the front and rear sling swivels are too small. I suggest using an actual m1903 sling (if you can find one) or a clip-on sling that you would find on a duffel/gym bag will work too

Bolt: It can be a little bit hard to pull back, so a little lube wouldn't hurt

Stock: A little too small for my liking, not sure if an actual m1903 stock is like that, but if it is then don't listen to me :P

*will update review if I find any other problems

"This is one of my favorite guns of all time, the wood finish is amazing and the metal is great. I really have no gripes about this gun except for the mag it is a little finicky. The bolt is a little short but that's nothing I can't get used to with a little more use.

Pros: Full metal and real wood, ultra realistic, heavy, great for ww2 loadouts

Cons: bolt is a little to short on the pull

"Great and amazing gun! Only thing I want to say when buying a sling you must buy a sling for a real m1903 Springfield and you must put the sling on backward and take it apart in order to fit in on the back sling loop.

"PROS:

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL gun. S&T really went above and beyond by recreating that beautiful wood feel on the 1903.

The entire interior and exterior is either made of real wood or metal, and it has a solid feel.

The thing weighs around 6-7 pounds by my estimation, and it feels great to hold.

The bolt pull back is very manageable (a 6 year old could do it), and the whole process of firing the gun feels very sturdy, which I like.

Accurate advertised FPS with .20g BBs. I've been shooting .25s recently and I hit around 360ish.

CONS:

The magazine system. Now, I haven't had as many problems as other people were talking about in their reviews of the M1903, but I did however have some loading issues.

Nothing unmanageable though, out of a 20 round magazine, I'll probably have 1-2 false fires where the BB gets misplaced and misses the barrel. How to get the BB out is to pull the bolt all the way back, and to turn the gun upside and give it a little shake, then turn the bolt back inside and the BB should be chambered at that point.

The magazine is plastic. Small pet peeve of mine, but the pure beauty of the gun is enough for me to overlook this.

The trigger lock. Over time, the back of the bolt will get looser and looser, and I wasn't able to even pull the trigger anymore without physically pushing the back of the bolt down to push down the trigger lock to deactivate it. I took the thing apart and looked at the trigger lock mechanism, and took out that lock entirely as it made it so I couldn't even fire the damn thing. It's fixed now, so I can overlook this as well.

The rear sight adjustment came to me broken. It looks like the turn wheel is supposed to be metal glued to the end of the screw, and for some reason mine wasn''t. I still kept all the pieces, so once I get some metal glue I should be able to fix that pretty quickly.

Little modification potential. This is a proprietary system by S&T and that eliminates a lot of beautiful mods that could be done to this.

This one is VERY petty, but the strap loops are too small on the back, and they're really loose. Whenever I walked around with the thing I would hear them clank against the wood, and it would irritate me. I had to zip-tie them down, as I don't use a strap with this rifle.

=======================================

Overall, this is a beautiful gun. I wouldn't recommend this gun for someone who isn't a problem solver, as S&T really chose aesthetic beauty in compromise for flawless execution of the rifle.

For me, it was only a couple problems that were rather simple to fix, but irritating.

Taking the trigger mechanism apart and trying to get all those springs back in their place was a killer for me, but I FINALLY got it back together and it was the most satisfying thing in my entire life.

Although I might have listed a bunch of problems, I think I can overlook them because this gun is just so damn beautiful that I have to give it a 5. Good work S&T.

"This gun is one of the prettiest guns I have.

It is for sure a good purchase, I was skeptical to get this gun for a while because of some reviews, but the main reviews were that it had feeding issues, the feeding issues came if you overloaded the magazine.

I only try to keep maybe 10 shots in a magazine and it feeds perfectly.

The bolt is a little hard to pull back, but once you get used to it then its good.

Pros:
Pretty gun
Accurate 150ft+
Fun to use
Mine came sturdy with no lose wobbles
Different sniper than everyone elses
Has a good fps for closer combat as a main battle rifle ( If you want to be the bold action against semi weapons ). As well as it is good for a sniper class.

Cons:
Comes how it is with no extra parts on market in case something breaks
Magazines can have feeding issues if you over load it. has a 12 round magazine, but load only 10

"I am a sucker for all things WW2. I bought this inspite of some spotty reviews assuming if it shot bad it would make a great prop rifle. it's priced less than an shooting Denix replica. I lucked out as mine shoots and feeds flawlessly with probably 500 plus rounds through it. I got two spare mags and all work fine. The power is less than I'd like for a Springer boltie (about 340 fps w .20 gram). Hop up is okay but not great.

As a skirmisher in a WW2 type event it could pass but definitely not adequate for a modern game. The trap door design is clever from a replica perspective but awkward for skirmishing. The looks are spectacular good. With the orange tip removed and a little aged patina it would be hard not to think it's real. A bayonet fits nicely into place but it's definitely not robust enough for the bayonet course. Come to think of it NEITHER AM I. I like this gun a lot! how about a comparable Kar 98 and Enfield at this same price point!

"I got this gun while on sale for 212 dollars, and I gotta say it was well worth the price! It's well built, got some weight to it, looks very nice and shoots hard. The magazine for it is just a plastic rectangle, and a bit fragile feeling, so don't act rough with it. When I first tried using it, the bolt was VERY stiff and hard to pull back, but after repeated firings and cycles of the bolt, it got better.

Also, this rifle is pretty dang long, so for smaller people, it's gonna be a bit big, but not overwhelming.

I 100% recommend getting this gun if you're interested, for 250 dollars, it's worth it. Even better if it's on sale.

"I really like this gun. I was cautious when I bought it, having seen reviews both here and on Youtube, but I bought it anyway, and I really, really like it. Now, I do want to address a few things. Firstly, the build quality isn't the greatest. The wood isn't perfectly put together, and as you can see on the "WhatAreYouBuyen" review on Youtube, you will have to glue it in one spot in particular. However, it was more than half a year before I actually noticed that problem. I secondly want to address all the issues I had with it. I did have to take the magazine apart once to get it to work again, but when I did, it worked fine. I also encountered a problem where the bolt wouldn't go all the way forward, and I want to mention that I found a (rather old fashioned) solution. Literally drop it straight down right on the tip of the barrel a couple of times (not too hard) and it will shake the bb loose and let you fire it. That aside, the reason I gave it a good review is that the bolt is nice and smooth, and, most importantly, it shoots incredibly straight over an incredibly impressive range. The trigger is quite sensitive and it altogether is a very nice gun. I recommend it for target shooting, it looks very nice and realistic for you collectors like me, and maybe, just maybe, if you have a nice place to post and you're feeling really lucky, you could even use it in a real airsoft fight.

"Hey,

I have the springfield since Thursday inside.
I can only say that it is a superb replica.
feels realistic.
is real wood that's a big plus.
the finish is perfect.

the fps is around 365 fps .20gr bb.

He shoots well accurate.
I have 10 of the 10 shots hit at a distance of about 45 meters.

I definitely hit him for ww2 style skirms.

Also the service of Evike is very good.

Great compliments to the team Evike

"I bought this gun warily as some of the reviews were negative about it, but when it arrived and upon operation of the rifle, it's a nice gun! It's an iconic piece of history, and works great. I have had no feeding issues, no cocking issues, nothing of any sort. It shoots great, I was hitting a chest-sized target from 100 feet away with it. There was only one issue that I found with it, the rear sling mount is tiny! I bought a replica M1 Garand sling for it, but the J-Hook would not fit through the rear sling mount, forcing me to loop the tail of the sling through it. The stacking swivel, and the front sling mount are normal size, but for whatever reason, the rear sling mount looks like they put a little toy gun sling mount. Other than the one issue, it's a great gun! If you are looking for a good backyard gun, a movie prop, or if used in good hands an actual field gun, this gun is perfect.

"When i first got the gun i was impresed with how good it looked and that it was only a couple of pounds
When i fired the gun the mag feeding the BBs was a hit and miss but after repeatedly puting BBs and silicone oil in and dumping it out it works better but still needs to be broken in some. the range i got was bad (Until i realised i had the hop up off the entire time) after i turned it on i got some pretty good range but no more than an avrage aeg
also i aquired a genuin WWI springfeild bayonet but it dosent fit on the rifle because the orange barrle tip and the mount are just big enough that it wont fit but after the warnty expires i'll file it down

Pros
Light only a couple of pounds
eazy to find your target with the peaphole sights
mag capasity is 25 rounds
very nice wood stain

Cons
the mag can sometimes be auquard to get in and out and may have problems feeding but with some silicone oil and time they will break in and feed properly
the range is shorter than i expected so i would look in to upgrading the rifle some
if you want a sniper rifle
