"Gun came as pictured idk why people complain but it’s what they do. Can say weekend play tan great no real problems other than user. Hops .32 out of box very well. Lancer 300 black out mag works well just gotta slam it in like a real ar mag and it’s fine. Can confirm got 5 brand new tm Mws mags and all 5 cycle and bolt look perfectly. For 500 it’s a great entry for gas replicas in America and hopefully make it more popular. Overall don’t hesitate to buy Great entry into the Mws platform

"Most of the issue with the original T8 system has been fixed on this EMG N4 model, you know you get a revised version when your gun come with the white letters printed on the gun. So yes, TM mag compatible, no worry about having to buy T8 lips for your TM mags.
For $499, this gun is a good deal considering it is a "pre-upgraded" gun for people stepping into the MWS GBBR entry. Can't beat the TM in performance, but it is still a hell lot of fun.

"Received this about 2 weeks ago and brought it out to one game day. I was able to hop .40s with ease while using propane. Joule limit was just over 1.5. So far so good! The only issues I had were that the magazine catch would not lock in most of my other MWS mags. This was fixed by increasing the tension on the catch, as well as wearing it in a bit more. Had one trigger jam due to a BB getting stuck in the trigger mechanism. This is a problem with the MWS platform and not this gun specifically (happened multiple times on my TM MTR16). I was able to field strip and fix it in the middle of the round.

"So I tried very hard to like this Rifle, but it falls short on a few fronts. First and for most, the fit and finish on this rifle is outstanding. No rattling, no loose parts, magazines seat in the mag well great with no issues. Now for the issues, for which there are a few. First issue I had was with the low FPS, went to a game this past weekend and the rifle was shooting in the mid 200 fps, which was extremely low. NPAS's like the one from RA Tech won't fit as the nozzle is slightly different from the MWS nozzles. I believe an MWS Bolt will drop right in as a proper replacement. Next issue I had was the Hop-up. Out of the box the Hop up is turned down all the way, which in of it self isn't an issue, but what EMG has done is LOCKED the hop up adjustment screw with a roll pin preventing you from turning the screw to adjust the hop up. Ended up cranking on the screw and bent the hop arm, some how the hop up still engages but I don't know how reliable it would be. Lastly are the magazines for this rifle. the Lancer style mags look cool but are a pain to tech. Even with proper maintenance, it is a toss up as to whether they leak or not. I bought a few spare mags and already had two leak.
Maybe I got a bad batch, maybe its all of them.

"EMG QC is lacking. A spring was missing on the top of bolt carrier. The rear of the bolt was detached.
The big reason I bought this was that it was advertised to work with Tokyo Marui MWS magazines. It is not. The standard MWS magazine feed lip sits slightly lower than the included Lancer magazine. Because the MWS feed lip sits slightly lower when the N4 nozzle cycles it will skip over the BB and smack into the top part of the hop up chamber. If you want to use TM MWS magazine you will need to modify them.
Overall the gun is decent. It shoots straight and has a nice recoil. It has decent amount of upgraded features that are welcomed; hopup, adjustable trigger, grip. The receiver and rail all for well. This is supposed to be using CYMA’s CGS, but once you open up the receiver there is a surprisingly good amount of T8 components inside.
In conclusion if you are on a budget then give this a shot, just take in mind the possible QC issue and TM MWS magazine incompatibility. However, if you have the money get a TM MWS.
