Spacing of rail may not accept certain optics QD barrel system for easy maintenance Built-in folding vertical fore grip and sling swivel attachment point Locking charging handle and mock bolt for easy hop-up adjustment Cross-bolt safety bar also functions as fire selector Rubber covers over bolt covers prevents dirt and dust getting into hop-up area Armee-Universal-Gewehr (Universal Army Rifle) or AUG is a futuristic assault rifle developed during the 1960s in Austria to replace the aging 7.62mm FAL automatic rifles in service at the time.
Often considered as the first successful bullpup rifle, the AUG was indeed well ahead of its time as far as concept and design; it was highly advanced when it first went into service in the late 1970s.
Its bullpup design which moves the core of the rifles action behind the trigger allows for the use of a full length rifle barrel in a weapon with the ergonomics of a sub-machine gun. Some other significant features include fully ambidextrous controls and reversible charging handle and shell ejection port allowing the rifle to be configured for both left and right handed shooters. The unique two stage trigger allows the user to fire in semi-auto and full-auto without needing to manipulate a selector switch; for semi-automatic fire, the operator will just pull the trigger half way and if fully-automatic fire was necessary, the operator needs to only pull the trigger all the way back.Chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge for its ease of use and handling, the futuristic family of rifles in the AUG line can be quickly adapted to accommodate a wide variety of roles in the ever changing battlefield with just a quick swap of the barrel. The AUG is definitely a well-rounded combat weapon with a proven track record that can stand its own even with todays modern combat rifles.

" I bought the green version and it has been good so far. I haven't been able to field it yet however it has been quite accurate with .20g bbs. (with a sight) Speaking about sights, the rail wasn't standard but it still fit mine so it was alright. The only other "bad" part about it was the front grip was a bit wobbly, but all AUG grips are. The gun was a bit heavy for airsoft standards but I like it that way soooooo. That's my review of the snow-wolf AUG.
" great gun, my only issue is that the top sight rail isn't a standard one and only fits on certain optics. you can just buy a 1/4th raiser which is what I did for an extra 10$ and you got the best gun I've ever had.
" This is just a basic overview, not a full on review.
Bought myself a green A2.
Externally the gun is solid, minus the grip, all AUG grips are wobbly.
The charging handle isnt as stuff as other AUGs like the JG AUGs so that's good I guess.
There are 2 rubber dust covers included, remove whichever one u want to access the hop up unit after pulling back the charging handle.
Out of the box the gun shot around 390 fps.
The hop up unit is fine, stock bucking and brass barrel are alright.
Internally the gun does have a couple of neat features, notably the Quick Change Spring feature, the spring guide did not have bearings.
The stock compression and shimming was also pretty good.
The stock piston already had the 2nd to last tooth removed as well, and only 1 metal tooth.
Cylinder was non ported.
Nozzle didn't have an o ring.
Biggest disappointment for me is the wiring being soldered onto the motor, the stock motor is also somewhat weak, but did have a D type pinion gear.
Overall I'm happy with my purchase, and definitely see myself getting another Snow Wolf AUG or 2 in the future.
