G&G MGCR 556 Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle w/ M-LOK Handguard (Model: 10")

"I have gone through 35 mags worth of bbs testing on this gun. It has had its ups and downs through testing. The first 10 mags i had misfeeds then the misfeeds would then damage the nozzle tip. I had to contact a G&G distributor and evike to resolve the issue. I soon got a replacement nozzle with a rubber boot. The rubber boot fits up next to the hop up chamber. After the the rubber boot was installed all misfeeding issues were gone.

I like and hate the hop up system at the same time. It is super easy to adjust with a allen key. My major issue with it is when you adjust it you wont see results until 5 bbs in. Its like it has to settle down. Sometimes its either to little then adjust then its to high then its perfect then its not. I have to take it apart sooner or later to see how this system works.

with .2 my fps was 350-360 fps dinopuff gas(12)

Shot decently straight with .3 bbs

The large paddle mag release for the right index finger will loosen to the point it falls off. Lock tight it and it will be fine.

The mag well was tight at first but then after some use it was fine.

The recoil is decent. The sound of the gun is good. The rate of fire is good
The trigger is great. Its a short crisp pull.

There is very few after market parts for it so you are stuck with what ever the G&G gods have. The trigger group appears to be steel so that's good.

Overall If the rubber boot is installed, This gun is great and skirmish-able and would recommend it. If it doesn't have the rubber boot thing then its a roll of the dice if it jams.

it is completely proprietary, buffer threads are not standard so you cant change the tube let alone the stock. the threads are not mil spec or civ spec
had many issues fitting different adjustable stocks other than g&g.... :/
everything in the barrel is proprietary, even the terrible bucking it comes with. tried installing a maple leaf, made things much worse as it was not compatible with g&gs hopu up.
dont expect to perform any upgrades internally, even the trigger, it's g&g proprietary.
the performance of the gun is surprisingly bad, on the 12" model i was getting 370 fps with jumps of up to 40 FPS, extremely inconsistent.
g&g really dropped the ball on this rifle. i dont understand why g&g thought they needed to make everything proprietary.

the body is nice, but its hard to enjoy when it performs so badly!
