"Bought this in December 2023 as my first AEG and it is a treat to shoot out of the box. Accuracy is perfect for indoor use, and a simple bucking & nub upgrade (I used the Maple Leaf 70D with the Maple Leaf Omega Nub) almost perfects it and makes it reliable for outdoor long-range use (accuracy tested with .30g bbs). It is chronographed at around 1.5J with .25g bbs, which is right on the limit for most fields in America, but be sure to buy a weaker spring if you plan on going to a field with weaker Joule limits.

Build quality is great, zero wobble whatsoever and the stock feels nice. I ended up lubing up the charging handle rod with WD40 because it was squeaky out of the box. If you use a petroleum-based lube like WD40, just be sure to be cautious that it doesn't get on your wires or rubber parts.

My only complaint is that people complain that it hurts when playing indoors, but whatever lol. The gun performs outstandingly. If you are not used to shooting real-steel firearms or you have grown accustomed to polymer guns, it will feel quite heavy, but you will get used to it after a day of airsoft. (Great for your front delts :D)

"A capable and sturdy gun with versatility and modifications in mind. For reference, I have the CQB model. I have used it in weekend skirmishes and have had relatively consistent shots with it. The M4 buffer tube adds more customization to use a wider range of buttstocks. It can be used just as efficiently in close quarters engagements as medium range engagements. One thing I have found issue in is the method of replacing inner barrel/hop-up unit is a bit tedious which is a common issue across the AK platform (from the ones that I've used). And while personally I'm not opposed to keymod, I do wish it had a little more mlok capabilities aside from just being on the sides or an aftermarket option to swap the keymod rail system for mlok.

In spite of a few personal gripes, I wholeheartedly recommend this gun to anyone looking for an AK with modularity in mind. You will have a fun time not just working on it, but also utilizing it for either Milsim or weekend skirmishes.

"I received this in a box of awesomeness. It’s a very nice gun. Shoots and performs well. It’s made well and holds up like other CYMA AK’s. I would recommend buying this if you’re an AK person. Very cool stock and rails.
