"This upper receiver fixed the 3 problems I had with my GHM9-gen 2.

1) There was significant wiggle between upper and lower receiver with the polymer upper. There is no movement at all now with the CNC upper fitted.

2) The picatinny rail on top of the polymer upper felt flimsy and would probably break over time. The cnc upper is rock solid so no worries about damaging my optics.

3) The front Mlok hand guard would wiggle left and right no matter how tightened down it was. The upper receiver is precisely cut with no room for the hand guard to wiggle at all.

The bolt needed about 150 shots to smooth out. Now I feel the action works better with the CNC upper than with the older polymer upper.

"Similar to the other reviewer I purchased this to swap out for the original polymer receiver, had similar issues with the charging handle, however, the auto sear on my model pushes the bolt up into the top of the receiver causing it to grind and lock up. For the charging handle, just constantly rotating it as you move it back and forward helps a ton, as does acquiring the lambda defense folding charging handle. I either have to file the bolt, the roof of the receiver, or the auto sear in order for my bolt to travel freely. however other than that issue this was a much more solid fit to the lower receiver than the original, and the HopUp/barrel assembly was an incredibly easy swap.

"Was looking forward to throwing this on my ghm9. When I finally got it installed I then realized my bolt had stopped working. Upon further investigation, I realized that the CNC on this was pretty poorly done and I had to file down the charging handle port to stop my slide from locking up randomly.

Overall, not a good upgrade for newer airsofters, or those who don't have a ton of patience. Hopefully they calibrate their CNC machine in the future or something.
