"Ive had this gun for over a year. its AMAZING. i put around 500$ in mods into it to make it even better, stock it runs so good. i recommend you get the drum mag for it for maximum fire supremacy. after i modded it its become a feared gun at my local field. 10/10 would buy again

"The most amazing gun in my whole collection. It's been through mud, rain, snow, high heat and low cold. It's been to Milsims, LARPs, and open plays. It's never once let me down. If you want a lightweight and beautiful LMG, this is absolutely your go-to.

"This is a very faithful and amazing LMG, might I also add very HEAVY. I have the LCT 2000 round drum mag to go with it, it can lay down a good stream of bullets and pin down enemy’s .

Very much a good gun and would recommend you get it

"Amazing gun everyone is afraid of you on the field. Buy more midcap magazines. Gun is superpowerful and scary on fullauto. The battery compartment is a bit annoying but other than that its a great gun.

"The LCT Airsoft RPK with real wood furniture is a robust AEG worth the price. It is either my main LMG or I use it as a back to the M60. It held up well to a lot of abuse-dust, grime, forest, vegetation, using it to prop yourself up from a prone position. Once the hop-up is adjusted it has very decent range using heavier BBs. It could be long but one gets used to it and its weight too. The only downside to this AEG is not the AEG itself but the drum magazines available for it. Not only are the drum magazines hard to come by but the internals seems to always run into feeding problems. I encountered haphazardly installed internal switches (to feed BBs) to a substandard feeding tube which spit open as it's made up of two halves of tube. Otherwise the LCT Airsoft RPK is a very good purchase. Just watch the drum magazines you use on it.

"TLDR: This is a solid LMG platform that runs quite well right out of the box. Recommend a new bucking, 3S battery, and an M125 spring to reach 450fps/1.88J limit.

I received this replica about two weeks ago. The external quality is awesome. All wood and steel. It’s quite heavy which I love. The one thing I noticed right away that I disliked is the hand grip is plastic. I’d rather it be made out of wood if that’s possible. The front sling attachment point is also getting a little loose after running around with it. Might need to epoxy that back onto the front wood under the barrel. The rest is awesome.

Internally, this thing is pretty solid. It’s got an M120 spring out of the box. The gearbox seemed pretty well shimmed to my amateur eye. And compression was literally perfect. I took it fully apart to check everything and the piston/cylinder compression was 100%, no leaks at all no matter how hard I pressed them together. The nozzle also has an o-ring and had perfect compression. Angle of engagement also seemed spot on to me. I’m not really an airsoft tech, just a mechanically inclined person but this all seemed good.

The only fault I could find was the stock bucking which seemed kind of low quality. Sort of a greasy black rubber. I immediately swapped it for a Maple Leaf Super Hop 70 degrees. The hop-up unit also seemed like it might not be seating into the gearbox that well so I recently put some teflon tape around it to try and seal it up a bit better. Haven’t used it or chrono’d with it after this change. But I don’t detect any air leaking out anywhere.

Stock, it chrono’d at 402-417 FPS on 0.20g. On a 2S LiPo, it had a low to moderate RoF and not very fast trigger response. On 3S, it came alive. I’d definitely recommend 11.1V, contacts be damned. Burn them out then buy an MOSFET, I say. I ran it on a 2200mah 3S LiPo which fit in the stock no problem and lasted about 5000rds (you’re gonna want to buy a lot of ammo for this…). I also adjusted the motor height a bit higher after playing with it which seemed to improve the RoF and responsiveness.

The gearbox has a quick-change spring system but accessing the gearbox is not that quick. I swapped in a Matrix M125 spring which increased the FPS to 430-440 on 0.20g. This is right where I want to be for my field which has a 450fps limit for LMGs. I also had it chrono’d on 0.28g and it shot about 380fps, right at 1.87J, perfect. The RoF did suffer a little with the new spring, as expected. I corrected the motor height and restored most of the RoF, but I'll be keeping an eye on the motor to make sure it can keep up. Otherwise, a super-high torque (18k-28k) may be on order in the future.

I played a whole day with it shooting 0.28g and the range was good but left me wanting slightly. That was on the stock M120 spring. I’m going to run 0.32g BBs on the M125 and I think it’ll be super solid.

The stock inner barrel is 24”/610mm and is recessed from the end of the outer barrel by about half an inch. It’s super long. On heavier BBs it may suffer from some undervoluming. I may end up picking up a 550mm 6.03, or I can use that money on a new platform… we’ll see. But the groupings on the stock barrel and maple leaf bucking were reasonable. It is an LMG after all so accuracy by volume works just fine for me.

The stock mag is NOT going to be sufficient to get you through an actual game with this thing. I purchased an Angel Custom 1500rd Firestorm flash mag and I don’t really recommend it. The flash winding mechanism broke in the first game. The electric version of that one is probably better. But I’m just going to get the huge metal LCT electric drum and be done with it. This is gonna put the setup over 15lbs at least I bet. Note, on the angel custom AK adapter, I did have to file the front lip that locks into the magwell to be a bit thinner to actually fit into the LCT RPK NV. Took about 2 minutes with a square file to get it thin enough for a snug fit. So keep that in mind with other brand AK mags.

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. A 3S battery and it’s solid out of the box. Replacing the bucking takes _10mins and is a worthwhile upgrade. It’s only 2 grub screws under the rear sight to remove the whole front end (unscrew them far enough or it won’t budge) and the two button head screws holding the hopup unit onto the front end. Definitely get a drum, or some hi-caps, or even the electric dual-mag hi-cap if you want to be different. I shot 5000rds out of this thing the first day I used it (probably 2.5hrs of gameplay). Bring enough ammo and this RPK will keep a smile on your face.

"Amazing replica of an RPK. Great value for the price! The build quality is very impressive, no problems so far, even under heavy use. its quite accurate and has quite a mean "pop" after every shot. A sling is a must have, as this gun weighs around 12 pounds..

Pros
Bulletproof
Looks good
Mean support gun
wood weathers after use and looks epic
amazing Polarstar platform
Lighter than M249, with the same performance

Cons
The bipod is a bit wobbly but thats kinda a snoby complaint..
The grip feels a bit cheap, but also, a snoby complaint.

Summary, amazing gun, good price.

"This thing is a beast for the price. I've had it for about a year now and I'm super happy with it! Great externals and weight and pretty good internals right out of the box.
Pros:
Great appearance
Durable
Easy to find accessories
Solid right out of the box

Cons:
Battery is in an annoying spot
The bipod is really hard to unattach from barrel.

"AMAZING AEG!!! This variant of the RPK is the best that money can buy if you're looking for an AEG version. The build quality is top notch and pulling the furniture and giving it a quick coat of amber shellac makes it look incredibly realistic and makes it even more resistant to punishment. That being said, the whole AEG besides a few bits, is STEEL which is as strong as you'll get and weathers beautifully to give your RPK that battle hardened look. This AEG is very realistic.

The AEG shoots well right out of the box and has a decent enough rate of fire. For those who want a BB hose, the LCT gearbox is a little bit more challenging to upgrade than others because of its tighter tolerances. That being said, the stock set up is perfect for most players and becomes a sniper rifle if you upgrade the hop-up rubber, hop-up unit and add a better inner barrel. Groupings are decent with the stock set up though.

When buying this, remember that it is an RPK, so be prepared to be weighed down and impeded a bit by its weight and length. It's a long gun, so you're best to sling it and draw a side arm if you're moving into tight quarters. This is a support weapon and made of mostly steel, so it will take a lot more energy to run and gun with than a standard AEG.

All in all, this is pound for pound the best RPK AEG money can buy right now. So nice are the externals, that this is the basis for the Hephaestus RPK GBBR.

"wanted to share my experience, this gun reminds me allot of vfc, great on the outside, a bit of a gamble on the inside.
my gear set lasted half the day and then thats it, i figured i stripped a gear/piston, but i was wrong, in fact, nothing stripped or broke. HOW EVER what had happened, is that the gears were of a softer metal and the teeth on the sector gear had beaten themselves out of spec, so visually the gears look fine, but in reality, they stripped every polymer toothed piston I had on hand and were not able to pull back one with a metal rack, I swapped them out for a set of krytacs and its brilliant.
my second time using it, the motor crapped itself, I think a bearing went bad, but that motor will not turn no matter what i did, swapped it out to another motor that eventually over heated and I could not be as trigger happy as I once was, somewhat Ironically I ended up with another lct motor and tossed that in, so far so good.
I got good accuracy, but the hop up was barely able to hop .25s, and I could not get max range with them, I also hated the plastic hop up and took the opportunity to upgrade to a lonex hop up chamber, threw in a maple leaf bucking with an omega nub, great combo, its performing the way it should. inspecting the old hop up, somehow they forgot to put in a nub, so the bucking was not getting enough pressure to hop much.
I purchased one of the lct magwell spacers, I run cyma 800 rd flash mags and it would not work with those, said forget it and dont run a spacer, i figure having to "float" my mags in is enough of a handicap since its supposed to be a lmg. my advice is dont get a spacer at all.

thats everything that I have encountered, after getting the internals sorted its performing amazing, one of my favorite guns because it just works and just keeps going regardless of the abuse I dish out, the finish on the metal is amazing, i have dragged, dropped, beaten and burned this gun and there is virtually no sign of it on the metal components. the stock gives tons of space to run pretty much any battery you want (titan 3000mah fits no problem, I modified mine to run the titan 6000mah).

I found the length to be to long and chopped my barrel down to the gas block, much more handy

overall I cannot recommend this gun enough, but be aware of the internals, maybe I got a lemon, I have no idea, but after upgrading it this thing is absolutely amazing.

"its blowback but not gas blowback 4 stars
by Paul M. on 03/03/2018
"Excellent gun, I have enjoyed using it at games.

PROS:
-It's cheap ($230 USD with a coupon, and HALLELUJAH IT'S NOT MAP PROTECTED)
-Very sturdy. Unlike the CYMA or G&P, the entire body is steel. I checked with a magnet.
-Pretty good internals. Very accurate for a stock gun, everyone who has shot it agrees.
-Real wood is excellent, and doesn't seem cheap or fragile. Also weathers quite nicely.

CONS
-Contrary to the description, it DOES NOT HAVE A SIDE RAIL! Since it it based on the original RPK, you will have to attach one yourself if possible, or get the RPK-74MN variant.
-Mine came with a Mid-Cap, CONTRARY TO THE DESCRIPTION AGAIN!
-It is wired to the stock, and you have to unscrew the rear plate to access this. Not a deal-breaker in the slightest, but still a con.
-Doesn't come with an accurate RPK cleaning rod or rear sight.

Overall, a pretty good gun. While it does have a few things wrong with it, it is still far better than the competition.

"First off, this is a beautiful gun. Unlike the SRC RPK, this one does the design and build correctly. The externals are excellent! Multiple steel parts and no pot metal that I could find. the internals are great, but the tappet plate can make putting the gear box back together a pain. The battery space is actually decent in the stock, you can fit an average 9.6v; and it even has the stock compartment hatch. The magazine it come with is average, nothing special. The only external flaws I could find are that the cleaning rod is not the correct length and the rear sight is not the proper RPK rear sight. shoots fine out of the box, but could use some accuracy and fire rate increases. Overall, this is a great gun externally, no wobble at all besides the mag. To be a proper support weapon though, you will want a larger magazine and some internal buffs.

The good:
-great externals and realism (I would probably buy this gun solely for it's build quality)
-average range and accuracy; most internal pieces are of very high quality
-good fps

The bad(I was blinded by its externals, but it has some flaws):
-desperately needs a new motor, the fire rate needs some work. Get an h-nub while you're at it
- lacks the correct rear sight and cleaning rod; replacements are available. Kind of a picky con
-the air cylinder they use is ribbed, so when you pull back the charging handle it literally sounds like you are zipping up a zipper no matter how much oil you put on it. Replace that cylinder

I pick it apart because I love this weapon. Looks amazing and no wobble; with a little work it will become a solid support weapon. If you have the choice to buy this or the CYMA RPK, get this one if you prefer build quality and longevity.
