About LCT Airsoft When it comes to Airsoft externals, LCT is one of the most prolific brands on the market. LCT prides themselves in making some of the most realistic replicas in Airsoft through great attention to detail and by closely replicating the same manufacturing processes used to make their real firearm counterparts.LCT shows the same level of commitment for their AEG internals as their externals; the LCT gearboxes feature an enhanced list of parts users would typically upgrade to. These high performance, reinforced internals boast greatly improved reliability while still remaining completely Tokyo Marui (TM) compatible.

" This gun is amazing, it has excellent potential for upgrades and can take real G3 handguards, stocks, sights, and other parts as replacements.
The gun is very heavy for an AEG but also has amazing build quality. If you drop this thing on concrete, it will break the concrete and not even have a scratch.
The FPS makes it a great DMR but if it's too much/not enough then you can easily swap the spring given that it has a super common gearbox.
I have encountered a few issues with it though, after a few milsims the rear sight no longer locked in place, I had to remove it and tighten a small allen screw on the bottom to fix it. The safety is very stiff and also broke, the gun fires on safe. Disassembly can also be annoying, as the pins on mine were very stiff and you have to remove the stock, upper receiver, and grip to access the gearbox fully.
Overall this is a great gun and has never jammed, significantly broken, or been inaccurate. I highly recommend it for outdoor games.
" #1 Thing I noticed is the weight - it is so so heavy! Everything is metal that I can find on it and that's awesome. I could only find the fore-grip, pistol grip and the stock as the only non-metal components I could find anywhere on it. I bought the recommended battery and charger on the product page and it charged in about an hour and it worked perfectly. The magazine was surprisingly heavy and robust and I had to load the BBs with a jig I made of two small pipes because I didn't realize I'd need a speed loaded. At first I tried putting one BB in the loading port and pushed it down with a pen without the point out and that worked well to test to see if things were working. I had no feeding issues at all but when there's like 1-2 BBs left it will not fire because there's no force pushing up against the hopper, and that is fair and acceptable. I have been holding this airsoft gun all day, reloading over and over and charging the handle (but not doing the "HK slap" as I don't want to push things). I know some say the "HK slap" is fine to do but I'm not taking and chances. It certainly feels like it would be fine to do with the extremely thick steel everywhere but I just want to be safe. I could not be happier with this purchase except for the lack of the olive color for the plastic pieces that was out of stock, and said pieces are not all for sale on this website and it's just too expensive otherwise on other websites. I would really say save up the money and get this model and ignore anything below this level of product because you will be missing out if you don't buy this one. I whole hardheartedly recommend this as a first airsoft gun purchase.
" I bought this as my first airsoft rifle since I fell in love with it's history as well as the idea of pairing it with an accurate 1990's era German Panzergrenadier kit, and boy did it not disappoint. The externals on this thing are magnificent and I can't tell you how many times I've HK slapped the charging handled (it's incredibly sturdy and also incredibly fun to do!). I've mostly kept mine stock aside from having our team tech take a look inside the gearbox and reshim things as well as a few other adjustments, but apparently according to him the internals are quite good just stock. With that fine tuning I can get accurate shots out to about 160-170 feet on a good day. If you're looking for a great basis for a DMR look no further.
Pros:
- Incredibly realistic externals (seriously it's still one of my favorite guns to just take out and handle).
- Quite good stock performance (even before tweaking it still shot nicely)(I use .25s and get between 398-402 FPS)
- Cool factor (at my local fields everyone always wants to hold it and or shoot it)
- Great DMR base (I've considered turning it into one farther down the line)
Cons:
- Heavy (it roughly weighs around ten pounds with a full mag and you will feel that at the end of the day along with carrying around extra mags if you use midcaps)
- Rear drum sight is loose (haven't been able to fix it, going to try and take it apart again)
- Long barrel gets stuck in the dirt if you're not careful (I quite like crouching or going prone and I've had to learn to keep the end of the barrel up to avoid dirt getting in and causing jams)
Overall, if you love the G3 or want a great rifle to build into a DMR, it's worth every penny!
