"Solid gun, wouldn't recommend. Just buy the base model, unless you seriously want Zenitco furniture.
I've owned mine (AKS-74U model) for about 3 years now and I've had little to no issues. The gun functions great, I've added and removed parts, beat the hell out of it and it's continued to work.
Externals are great, but they aren't super accurate to an actual AK, the metal finish is way too dark. The Zenitco furniture is pretty accurate and holds up to real stuff for airsoft use. I ended up rattle-canning mine just because the finish was bugging me so much. One minor issue is the PT-1 replica. The stock has this weird issue when extended it'll not fully lock - meaning you'll shoulder it and it'll move forward maybe a couple millimeters and lock in. It's nothing huge but it's just awkward sometimes when aiming.
Internals seems to be pretty good. Never chrono-ed mine when I first bought it but it shot pretty hard. I'd guess somewhat high above the advertised FPS. It's 100% gone lower since then and is probably around or at the advertised FPS now. One major issue is that the trigger locks up and refuses to fire, as if it's in safety. It only really happens if you seriously spam semi-auto. The only fields near me are all indoors so this is a pretty big issue for me, but if you take well-placed shots and fire in burst this'll never happen. I've been told that it's an issue on most LCTs but this never happened on my RPK-74 from them. Otherwise internally this thing feels very solid and the trigger-locking on semi-auto is the only issue that's occurred in the 3 years using it.
The modding is 100% a plus if you don't plan on switching any furniture out. I wouldn't recommend the 74U if you really want something to completely kit-out. It's a lot easier to just go w/ the AK105 or PP19 if you want to easily throw a sight on and other parts w/out compromising the comfort of use. The limited rail-space on the handguard makes it extremely awkward to mount lasers and flashlights without not only losing majority of hand space, but also adding a ridiculous amount of weight to the front. The Zenitco handguard is completely metal so its decently heavy kitted out w/ a flashlight, laser, and grip.
Overall would recommend replacing the internals somewhat, but I've honestly just not done it since getting it. I'm running a 7.4v and 9.6v w/ it battery so that could be it.

"Just going to say that this gun is amazing and probably one of the best/sturdy built guns out there.
CONS-
- magazine included is trash, low round capacity
-the button to unfold the stock can be VERY annoying since it’s small and will take quite the pressure to press on it.

"I LOVE THIS RIFLE. Works perfectly with a 11.1 Lipo. I strongly recommend. Just be aware if it may be an issue for you, this thing feels like a real steel AK. It is heavy like real steel. I love it for realism but just something to consider. My Krytac M4 is wayyy lighter.

"Background: I own a SLR104FR with tons of Zenitco upgrade like this one, I'll be using it as a metrics.
PRO
Really tight tolerance like the real deal.
Excellent built quality.
The PT-1 stock is actually usable and won't collapse if you shoulder it too hard.
The gat sounds pretty good
GB is reinforced like their EBB line (with top cut out for anyone want to install the EBB system)
GB has quick spring change.
Mine come with a rivet magwell lever
CON
The Z parts does not have any cool Zenitco trademarks
Some of the unit seen from the web does not have a rivet magwell lever rather just a longer pin.

"Very solid gun, unsure what it chronos at out of the box as I immediately put a M105 spring it due to hearing they normally shoot hot out of the box and the limits on the fields near me. The LCT black mags fit very snugly and the LCT bakelite rep I bought barely hooks onto the front, the gun itself is wearing the plastic down on the mag after putting it in about 5 times already but the mags feed fine. The mag release lever on mine flipped backwards and wouldn't let me put mags in it and I had to hit it with a hammer a couple times to get it to go back into place to let a mag in. Other than those it's solid, the weight feels balanced so although it's around 8 lbs it doesn't feel heavy to hold for a couple hours. None of the parts on the gun wiggle or anything, 10/10.

"The externals are amazing, the stock internals are ok but with a little bit of upgrading it can be a great rifle. I do not mind the rifle being heavy but I can understand how that can bother some people.

"This LCT Ak is really awesome! The weight is super amazing, hand this airsoft gun to a real steel enthusiast and they'll even be surprised by the weight and overall fit and finish. I really like the internals of this gun and didn't find many physical parts to replace, the only thing this gun needed for me was a Mosfet which I installed, and I found the disassembly process of this gun a little difficult but, not absurd pretty typical but, tolerances were a little tighter than some other brand's aks. The stock hop-up and barrel setup are amazing for a stock gun, and groupings are super tight out of the box. When I pulled this gun out of the box I was super disappointed to find the ZKS-74M for me at least didn't come with the amazing looking Zenitco Flash Hider it's advertised as having and appears to include in European/Asian territories, just the ugliest orange tip I've ever seen which lasted a very short amount of time on the gun. The other thing I noticed almost immediately is just how poorly the grip is made, it creaks and wobbles a bit. It is a noticeable departure from the quality of the rest of the gun. Overall I really enjoy this gun, I have fairly little that's bad to say about it however for $500 I think some of these quirks could've been worked out. (Also a heads up the battery space is incredibly tight, 1200mah lipo sticks seem to fit barely, and I don't think anything bigger would.)

"Pros:
Very powerful fps out of the box
Very realistic full metal uppers and lowers
HEAVY
Cons:
Hand grip is made completely of cheap plastic which I noticed immediately when I picked it up out of the box. It completely kills the immersion. you have to drop an extra $30 to buy a better grip. That is my only concern with this other than that it’s a fantastic AEG. I would recommend the lct RK-3 if you plan on getting a different grip.

"Build quality is unmatched, however you will have to buy a magwell spacer at the minimum. The railed dust cover won't fit my 11v titan batteries like other AK AEGS do, so you will also probably need new batteries.

"I have no idea what's happened to LCT's internal QC, but it has taken a nose dive in recent months.
Just received the ZKS-74M earlier today and tested it out, only to have semi shoot in bursts and auto to run off even when I'm not holding down the trigger. Tested with three separate batteries, all with the same results.
This has occurred on two prior LCT guns. I just thought I had an unlucky run with lemons, but now it seems to me that this isn't just a rare occurrence.
If I can't rectify the problem myself, I'll either be consulting a tech or just returning it.
The upside?: Externals are superb- everything is attached nice and tight with no wobble.
