Features Real wood furniture 2x CO2 magazines included Full metal internal parts Adjustable rear sight The G&G GM1903 A3 is based on the famous Springfield 1903 service rifle used by American infantry during WWI1 and even into the early stages of the Vietnam War. The 1903 rifle was well known for its legendary reliability and accuracy; even to this day it remains a popular civilian firearm as both a historical piece as well as a long range precision firearm.
The G&G GM1903 A3 replicates the same standard of reliability, build quality, and accuracy. The gun is solid wood with aluminum and steel internals with a beautiful stained finish. Powered by green gas or Co2 magazines, the rifle is very consistent and accurate clocking in at over 430 fps.

" Got this sucker a little over a month ago, long enough for the cold to settle down and the gas to work; and I have to say it has got to be one of the greatest airsoft purchases I've ever made. The magazine itself does have a capacity of 9 rounds, giving it a real authentic feel in the field, but you better be a good shot up against an AEG. I bought it to complete my world war two Guadalcanal marine loadout and it fits every aspect I could have hoped for. The wood has a fine finish over it, and the bolt has a very smooth feel when you rack it. Aside the fact that the trigger and the and the bolt colliding steel, it might rub it down after a while of use, so I'm hoping they come out with replacement parts at some point in case of the metal wearing away. Overall the purchase is a must, and I'm more than satisfied too having pleasure of owning this beast.
" Pretty good overall. Looks and feels great but needs a tiny bit of work out of the box. I got the green gas mags version which also functions with duster gas.
Pros.
The metal and wood are pretty high quality and finish
Looks really nice
Two mags and some .30g BBs
Feels great. Pretty hefty, but also handy to carry and aim
Green gas nozzle extension included with the gas version
Cons.
Really stiff trigger pull, possibly bad for precise shooting
Expensive, even with the extra included mag
Mag release reduces the authenticity of the appearance, I wish it was better concealed
Mag might not drop freely due to the slight L shape
The bolt can easily catch or stick midstroke if it isnt pulled straight back and forward. To get it nice and smooth, I recommend a light coat of silicone lube, cycle it about 100 times to break it in, and practice a bit.
The plastic orange tip is pinned to the muzzle
The receiver wears where the bolt lug rotates. Just a cosmetic issue after 100ish cycles, not sure how bad it will get over time.
Mixed.
Several screws were barely loose. I tightened them all just finger tight
The metal receiver was initially loose within the wood stock. With minimal effort, I added a small paper spacer piece inside to snug it up.
The rear peep sight is very adjustable, but the aperture is pretty small. It could be hard to use in low light conditions.
The shot with gas sounds like a poof. Not impressive but better for stealth I guess.
TLDR. Its expensive, perhaps somewhat overpriced. Get it only if you really want it like I did. Needs a tiny bit of work out of the box. The aesthetics and quality are still really good and I am happy to have it!
" this rifle is very nice looking and seemed well made. but it is high maintenance, and seems to have a number of issues, or quirks depending on how you look at it. my mags don't seem to be reliable, and have had issues out of the box. spring bolt action rifles in my opinion are a better option, as they are lower maintenance and do not require gas. gas gun and mags are more temperamental. this rifle is not bad, it shoots wonderfully when it is working. in the hands of some one with dedication to maintain this rifle, and trouble shoot it, I believe it a is a wonderful and historically accurate rifle. for combat, even in ww2 sim, i recommend the s&t m1903a3 springer instead. the rating i give is based on how much this rifle and its mags cost verses reliability I got for my money. this rating reflect the problems I am having.
