"I purchased this for my son who is 16 years old and just getting into airsoft.
First impressions are: WOW.. this is an amazing rifle, simply put it is beefy and looks looks like it could take a beating.
Shooting the gun was a joy it has great performance, range, and very accurate.
Overall: I was very pleased with this gun. Well built, all moving parts are great, looks bad*ss. I dont foresee many problems down the road with it so very friendly for young airsofter's who dont know or want to be tearing into the guts of a gun every few months.

"Looking for a PCC that looks serious and not so toy-ish and decided on this one. Glad I did!
Pros:
1. Perfect for CQB
2. Magazine is the universal type not the priporitary
3. Durable
4. SO MUCH FUN
Cons:
None!
BOTTOM LINE:
If you're looking for a solid, awesome PCC AEG, this is definitely a viable option for you.
Note: Good with 0.23g bb

"so I bought this gun and the only thing I changed on it was the inner barrel and it's advertised as 350 fps give or take but I don't know if it'd the hop up or what but I'm only shooting at a consistent 250 which is 100 under what's advertised, other than that the gun had overall a great build quality and such, would definitely recommend to anyone!

"Great build quality, overall great feel. Folding stock feels very solid. For those wondering it is a G&P gearbox inside. Tip is full metal with an orange plastic bumper on it. Both have a pin that need to be drilled out, you can pull of the orange plastic without drilling but then you’re left with a pin sticking out. For main flash hider drill it out, soak in boiling water, comes off with some force. Original gearbox housing works great with a drop in kythera HPA setup.

"This a formidable CQB carbine PWS. Now, that been said it does have flaws which mainly are from manufacturing and design. Nothing is a 100% in my experience.
THE GOOD:
Great MOSFET unit from GATE ASTER.
Well built considering some shortcomings
Nice aesthetics
Solid Construction
Compatible with a fairly amount of external parts
Well detailed exterior
Great looking stock with room for some long LIPO batteries
Stock magazine is fantastic
THE BAD:
Silly proprietary outer barrel with mock oppressor (meaning there's nothing you can do to replace the barrel unless you do some heavy modifications which I did) Recommend swapping the barrel
Terrible hop-up unit then again this is the same hop-up unit EMG uses in all of their offerings
Hop-up chamber wont accommodate any rotary wheel hop-ups that are wide in diameter e.g. EMG / Maxx Model CNC Aluminum Hop-up Chamber for M4 Airsoft AEG Rifles (Model: M4E / EMG Blue)
The rear and front sights are the cheapest I seen. Recommend swapping them.
THE UGLY:
The only way to accommodate a mock suppressor, Tracer unit or another oppressor is to swap out the entire outer barrel! Not sure why EMG went to such length to prohibit the user from upgrading an AEG? It's Beyond me.
If you want a hop-up such the one mentioned above you need to modify the inside of the upper receiver by shaving off some plastic on the inner wall of the upper receiver next to the Tappet plate. That part was easy. In the end you get full control of any sort of rotary hop-up wheel. Jeez!
Fire selector extremely stiff. Am sure it will brake-in in time. I hope.
Is not a bad gun but it could've been better for this price range. In my opinion it lacks the user friendly appeal that others offer.
Now the upgrades...
EMG Strike Industries Licensed Oppressor Blast Shield Airsoft Muzzle Device (Color: Black / 14mm Positive)
Lambda "SMART .03" Precision Carbon Steel 6.03mm Tight Bore Inner Barrel for Tokyo Marui Spec AEGs (Length: 303mm)
EMG / Maxx Model CNC Aluminum Hop-up Chamber for M4 Airsoft AEG Rifles (Model: M4E / EMG Blue)
4UAD SmartAirsoft 4UANTUM Friction Pro High-Performance Bucking for Airsoft AEGs
Titan Power 11.1v 25C Stick Type LiPo Battery (Connector: Deans / 1200mAh)
Am shooting a consistent 410-415 FPS with 0.20g at 20.6 RPS. Swapping the motor could change that RPS number drastically. If you do consideration of the stock gears is imperative.
Lastly, no part swap comparison was made because frankly, I didn't care much for the stock parts.

"I bought the 4” Viper stock version and put in a 6.03/135mm Prometheus barrel. It now shoots about .53 joules off of .25g BBs. It shoots a decent grouping that will work at any CQB-type arena, very high ROF using 11.1v LiPo.
As far as modification, you will probably get one with a muzzle amp pinned through the outer barrel threads, so be prepared to buy a new outer barrel and dremel it to allow the hopup unit to sit all the way forward.
Gun is lightweight and fun, could have more magazine variety (be careful of the magazines you buy, cuz the notches may not line up with the magazine release of this gun).
