"Does what it's supposed to do, without cutting corners. The G&G tracer I have was crooked and affected the trajectory of the bbs. This one fits perfectly straight. And the illumination is very bright, and seems to keep up with at least a 11.1v battery. Although the flare is a brighter signal as to where you are, most people can probably already deduce where you are shooting from by following the trajectory of your tracer bbs. So go ahead and enjoy the unique flare feature and buy this unit instead of the other!

"This thing is absolutely sick! I love it and I plan on using it for EVERY night ops situation, or even during low light, dusk and evening time. It really gives the bb a great charge with the bright light it produces. The flare feature is really cool because it simulates an actual muzzle flash much better. When it comes to tracers, you give away your position no matter what tracer you are using, so why not get a seriously awesome one?

"Ive had it for a while now, and I must say it really is a great unit. I can't say for sure how good the actuall tracer unit is, I rarely use it. The flash works great and the design is just great. Only bad thing ive found is that the flash is pretty artificial looking, but thats expected.

"I own both versions of this gun and love them. It only works with green tracers though with the reds instantly becoming unseeable right out the barrel. The feature for this is the mock muzzle flash to simulate the looks of firing a supressor at night.To me it adds realism to the setup but at the sametime can give away your position but generally I am not concered since tracers work both ways.

"I got this about a week ago and when I first got it I was impressed with the look of the tracer unit it was well built and look amazing on my VFC SCAR L but I noticed the barrel was not straight and when I shot it the BBs shattered I took it off and was disappointed and thought I wasted my money so I took a good look at it and tried some things to fix ... I felt stupid when I stuck a screw driver in the barrel and lightly pulled up and it snapped back in place and now it works beautifully and can keep up and catch all my BBs shot out of my SCAR witch ROF is pretty ridiculous I recommend this to anyone it's cheap when on sale 5 stars .... Sorry for the bad grammar

"This thing is amazing, the metal construction is actually very solid, and the finish on it is perfect (matte with diamond texture for good grip when tightening).
I ended up foaming this with practice nun chuck foam, doesnt quite fit so just do a few layers of duct tape or something. But when it was foamed i threw it on my noisiest pistol (Taurus PT92, CO2) and noise reduction was like, 2/3. Absolutely amazing.

-Excellent suppressor if foamed on inside

-Metal's a little thin, makes me nervous
