"Let me start by saying I have owned both the VFC and this MPX. This one is far superior. Mainly because of price, and ease of modifications. It's polymer construction is solid, no flex anywhere. However, all the body pins, bolt release, and mag catch are also polymer, take that for what you will, they seem sturdy enough for me. The gearbox is a vodified V2 King Arms gearbox. I put a GATE Aster SE in it, it fit perfectly, no modifications required. Along with an SHS DSG gearset. I'm currently running 1.3j at 39rps. I love this thing!

"Fully functional, and exceeded my expectations. From firing to determining the gearbox to be suspectedly a KA gearbox. Absolutely flawless gear shimming from the factory paired with a very good motor and decent compression with the piston, cylinder and cylinder head, not to mention the AOE being spot on. The externals are pretty sturdy with no loose parts other than the stock being a little flimsy. But for the value i would get another to use as a backup. Very impressed with performance and build.

"Received this in a BOA recently. Great fun little gun. Used it this past weekend in CQB indoor field and had a blast. Stick Lipo fits perfectly under the barrel and isn’t really visible once a suppressor or tracer is added. For the price this is a perfect smaller gun for CQB.

"Honestly dont waste your money . Folding stock feels very flimsy. Battery compartment is very specific sizing and just opened ended, which is a terrible design. BUT the worst part is the proprietary plastic mags .

Pros: The body is polymer, but feels sturdy with zero wiggle anywhere . The trigger feel is fantastic and gearbox seems solid enough for the price point .

Would be an amazing option for a hpa conversion, if it was not for the absolutley awful PROPRIETARY magazines ..........
