" This is an unconventional airsoft gun. But it is by far my favorite!!! Im not gonna say it's perfect, but in my opinion it is an absolute blast to use. Although it isn't hard to do nowadays, having a shotgun that takes M4 mags out of the box is really nice. I have heard that others have issues with mag fit, and I do admit that the mag release is very touchy, but I use EMP1s and rarely have feeding issues. I know the mags that G&G make are good for it and they are solid. I love that it can take a standard 14mm tracer unit too, as it only has One threaded barrel all the bbs go through.
The weight is almost all in the stock too, so its really easy just to place the stock on your shoulder and only carry it with your firing hand.
Pros:
5 Shot burst is awesome
Huge gas reservoir gets about 400 bbs through it (~75 shots)
Super short barrel for CQB
Fast semi auto firing (kinda bad in 10 shot tho)
Fairly lightweight and easy to carry with carry handle
Looks sick
Cons:
10 round burst is weird, and can lead to jams (going from 10 _ Saftey _ 5 has jammed it before and you use a jam rod to clear it)
Touchy mag release can make you drop mags out of the gun, especially if you have a chest rig that sticks out.
Shorter range compared to other tri barrel shotguns, super short range in 10 round burst, some dont make it that far either.
Gas systems in general are somewhat hard to maintain
Overall, this is a 5star for me even with the downsides. I love it. Am I probably worse on the field compared to a polarstar player with a dye mask? yes. but whatever, Its airsoft. Have some fun with it!
" I have used this shortly in back yard shooting. I used EMG Strike Industries Licensed 250rd Super Mid-Cap Magazine for M4 with it and it shoots fine. I attached a laylax sound enhancer to the inner threading but the outer barrel had to go to make it fit. It has a large cracking sound to it now. When pulling the trigger, pull it all the way to ensure the next shot works correctly. The trigger pull distance feels large.
Pros-
-feeds reliably on emg 250 round mag
-looks fantastic
-bbs spread at 50 feet is like 6 foot area
-feels good in hands and decently heavy
-gas efficiency is good on dino 12
Con
-bb mag(stock) would hang up and require a tap to load bbs properly in chamber. It might need a break in time to fix it.
-bbs(.2g) drop hard at around 50-60 feet since there is no hop up
-Impossible to crono. I was getting around 230ish fps on 5 round(.2g) on dino 12 but i dont know if that is correct.
-The gun needs to be tilted up the further the target is.
Do i recommend this gun?
-If your into shotguns like I am then absolutely yes!
-for cqb then yes
-for every day gaming or general use then no
" Picked this up in person and I am very divided on it. It works but it has some glaring problems.
Pros:
-5 shot is amazing
-Both modes have a very good wide spread perfect for a shotgun
-Feeds very reliably
-About 3 mags or so per gas fill
-Front end comes off for tracer install, and makes MLOK screws convenient
Cons: (big ones)
-On 10 shot, half the bb's will not reach a 50 foot target. They drop a lot.
-Does not fit every m4 aeg mag. I am unsure why, I've tested many and I cannot determine why some just do not lock into place. It is consistent though, just depends on the model of magazine.
-Included magazine does not lock into sidewinder speedloaders
-These wouldn't be an issue but G&G has claimed it is compatible with all mags, and at this pricepoint there's really no reason for the poor performance.
All that said it is still a semi shotgun with a huge capacity and fast reloading. This thing will be amazing for indoor cqb fields.
