Tokyo Marui M92F Military Model Spring Powered Airsoft Pistol

"Reasonable M92F replica pistol and exactly what you'd expect from Marui. I say "reasonable" as it's not as true to the original as some other Marui pistols, particularly with the safety on the slide being non-functional. This is understandable, as it would make the replica more complex to engineer but the compromise is repurposing the slide catch as a janky safety that can only be used once the slide is cocked. Sure, a safety on a springer isn't a big deal but with Marui you expect realistic functionality and feel.

The gun shoots fine, is very accurate with 0.12 - 0.25 BBs, and the fit and feel of the engineering is superb. Five stars for the product.

Two stars for the distributor that Evike used to import these however. In attaching the orange tip they actually drilled through the muzzle and inserted a grub screw in addition to the adhesive. In the process of doing this they actually broke three of the four tabs that hold the muzzle to the rest of the assembly. I had to snap the muzzle off, file the broken ends smooth and re-cement the muzzle in place. It's fine now but I shouldn't have to repair a brand new gun due to damage caused by someone other than the manufacturer - in addition to having a hole drilled in the muzzle, devaluing a Marui product. I believe the damage occurred due to torquing the muzzle when drilling the hole for the grub screw.

Evike: If your distributor is who makes these US compliant, find a new one that isn't wrecking the products in the process. If you're doing it in-house, how about a tiny bit more care and common sense in the process?

"The size is not actual. But the performance of the gun is really great! Definitely not worth 45$ though. There are almost equal guns available at much cheaper rates.
