The new ICS APE series EBB rifles utilize the same reliable split gearbox as the standard CXP rifles with their easy to disassemble and convenient to maintain design. The new APE rifles feature fully ambidextrous controls as well as modular Keymod rails for a comfortable and customizable platform for the end user. "Absolute laser beam. I was able to get one while they were still Europe only, and I've used it for the past year. Heavily recommend at least using .25, if not heavier. This thing is heavy in and of itself, but 110% worth it. It does have issues with the charging handle, however. The op-rod will slowly shift further and further forward, until it's out of alignment and unable to be pulled back. To fix it, you have to disassemble it all the way down to shift it back. It has a little spring guide that slides across the rod, causing it to shift, but with some JB weld or locktite, it's and easy fix. Welding it to the rod doesn't effect disassembly in any way, so it's an objective upgrade. Other than that, it truly is excellent.

Objective pros/cons:

Pros:
•S3 trigger is amazing
•Accurate as a laser (with heavier BBs like .25s or .28s
•VERY good quality
•gearbox is as solid as it gets
•Mosfet is excellent, has 3rd burst.

Cons:
•op-rod will over time shift out of position (fixable by welding the spring guide in place)
•polymer stock isnt set up well for 2 point sling, and will fully extend if weight is put on it.

Subjective pros/cons:

•HEAVY! It's full metal/aluminum, but with polymer grip and stock, so it's a bit front heavy and isn't by any means light overall.
•M-lok (some people prefer the old keymod, for some unknowable reason)
