"Idk if its worth the $40 the pre-order costs now but for the $30 i payed its a great budget upgrade

"This and SHS are the best budget motors you can get, hands down. ZCI has a little more torque than SHS (better trigger response), but SHS has a stronger pinion gear.

"A nice motor, dropped it into a cheap colt m4 along with a new gearbox, works well in semi and full auto and the trigger response is awesome

"Great motor. Dropped it in my CYMA Thompson and completely turned it into a new gun. Easily doubled the ROF and trigger response, and that’s on just a 9.6...

"Would like to note that the ZCI High Torque is about twice as efficient in semi, per my M150 18:1 DSG testing. Need a big battery to avoid under-powering this motor on a strong spring, make sure your battery can output 90A continuous.

"Zci motors arrived really great for the price (better than similar brands like SHS). This is a 30K 16 TPA motor, other sites have it listed as the ‘ZCI Balance Motor’. Really nice motor for any build, pulls an m150 on my 18:1 dsg just fine at ~40-45 RPS.

"I put this in my Ares Amoeba AM-013 and at first it was overspinning the gearbox and firing two round bursts when in semi-auto. Then i took it to a field to play and it absolutely sheared half of the teeth on my spur gear 10 minutes into the first game of the day.
I should have ordered a high torque motor and replaced the gears with high speed gears. IF you really want a high speed motor and know what you are doing, then i have no issues with the actual motor but I should have read and learned more before purchasing.
I do not recommend this motor for most AEG unless you really know what you are doing.
