"I bought this kit for the replacement valve only. I planned to use it to rebuild a 1911 that shoots BBs instead of Airsoft. The dimensions of the valve were exactly the same, and when I replaced it, the new one leaked. I watched this video from Elite Force on rebuilding the valve on a 1911(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8o7KSMXTUls), and it explains that the included o-ring needs to be installed for the valve to seat on. I don't remember removing one from the original valve, but this was the "silver bullet". After installed the o-ring, the magazine holds air.
This was done on a Sig Sauer We The People 1911 BB Gun. It is also compatible with the Tanfoglio 1911 and numerous others.

"All stock KWA parts. No thrills....I have one of the KWA MP7s from before Umarex’s license with H&K became exclusive. It has been my main primary for about 10 years or so. People have told me that the KWA is not any good, because they heard from a friend in a forum from somewhere, where it’s ok to throw your gun down the stairs and say it’s a piece of junk.....My gun has run flawlessly for close to a decade, thousands of rounds, without failure or expensive upgrades. I have 4 flawlessly running 40 round magazines and a 20 rnd one with a leaking fill valve and base gasket. So I bought the kit. Fill valve is the same as the 40 rnd, but the base gasket is smaller....
Pros: all KWA oem parts that work.
Cons: does not fit the 20rnd magazine

"These are an amazing solution to leaky mags, i have three mags 2xregular size and 1x extended magazine I used the kit on all of them and it fixed there pesky leaking . 2 of them were completely useless i would tighten the co2 in and they would expel all of the gas out the top untill i rebuilt them that is! this is an amazing product when used properly. Keep in mind the co2 puncture part is counter clockwise. and the spring is obviously not going to work with the extended mags but they often don’t wear out anyway. DONT THINK TWICE END YOUR LEAKS HERE. NO NEED TO BUY NEW MAG WHEN YOU CAN FIX YOUR ORIGINALS . :)

"Great purchase for me! Helped me fix the bent tip of my green gas pin (in my mag)!!! This was a great investment, and cheaper then buying a whole new mag.

"Got my 1911 TAC running again, but IMPORTANT NOTE THAT THE VAVLE PICTURED WILL NOT FIT IN THE MAGAZINE!!! Everything else fits great, but the threads on the co2 puncture valve are counterclockwise, but the threads in the mag are counterclockwise! Thankfully, that was not broken on my mag, and everything else fits great.

"I found that if you put a little, and I do mean a little, thread/compression tape on the threads of the brass gas inlet and outlet fittings it will seal it up and prevent gas leakage.

"This product is what you are looking for if you are rebuilding an ELITE FORCE model MP7 gbb magazine. I purchased this repair kit in hopes that I would repair my leaky magazine, but none of the parts worked on mine. I have old KWA magazines, and NONE of the parts fit this magazine. If you have original KWA magazines, this WILL NOT rebuild your leaky magazine. If you have ELITE FORCE magazines, this will repair them no problem. I hope that this will help clear up any confusion that is out there.

"The tool works, which is mainly why I got this kit for a repair. The seal however, is wrong. It's a lot smaller.
Note: I'm using this on an elite force mag that was in the first generation or so of guns, so they may have changed it since then. Mine has a red seal about 1/32" to 1/16" making it impossible to seat correctly.
That being said, to the hardware store we go.
Three stars as only that o-ring is different, and the extra parts are always handy.

"This was great, until the tool broke. All the parts that came were the same as the ones being replaced in the magazine (obviously) and fit well, however when trying to remove the part that punctures the CO2 cartridge, the two prongs on the tool just snapped right off under the pressure, and this would be fine if the tool kit actually included 2 tools like it showed, but it actually only includes 1. The tool breaking is the only reason I am giving this anything other than 5 stars, otherwise the parts themselves deserve 5 stars.
