" I dont think Im that bad at shimming gears, but for some reason no matter how I tried, even after a near perfect shim of the bevel to pinion with the pistol grip. I was careful to shim all of them closely, you know cuz the helical design. My first installation they sounded ok, but still had a bit of pinion/bevel screech but still a fabulous response and medium-slow rof i was looking for. So I tried again paying more close attention to bevel/pinion relations and it ended up screeching so bad and the motor gets hot enough to overheat and blow the fuse after a few test shots. In conjunction with the expensive king arms cnc pinion it just never sounded right and it ended up chewing up the pinion even more and I just dont feel like using this combination anymore. I got it in the first place to reduce my rof in a vfc m27. My best sounding aeg is an m4 using g&g cm16 gears so i may just source another 2nd hand set to put in my m27.
