LCT Vented Steel Upper Handguard / Heat Shield for LCK47 Airsoft AEG Rifles

"I'm rating this a 4/5. No one cited that this wouldn't fit on a Cyma/VFC body but I can confirm for those wondering, it is NOT a drop in fit. You will have to heavily modify your gas tube retention switch for this to fit. I literally bought a dremel just for this part. I had a vision and I needed it to work, so I forced it to work.

If you have a Cyma RPK (CM.052), you're going to have to either file the inside of the gas tube for your bolt head to clear it OR do what I did and spend two hours with a dremel cutting off the bolt head because we apparently didn't have a hacksaw. Somewhere in the process the grating came a little loose and occasionally rotates in it's housing. It's secure but it really is a big let down to hear it rattle from time to time.

All in all, I can't blame LCT or anyone for the product's fitment on a gun it wasn't intended to be put on. But it was hella worth it. Cheese grater Romanian dong on an RPK? If you're thinking about doing it, the results are worth the hours of effort to build this magnificent beauty. Just know the cheese grater might rattle and rotate in its housing if you're going to modify it
