"Very good value for all compatible holsters by cytac/matrix. I use mine with a 5.1 hi capa holster and it is pretty sturdy and durable. Only caveat is make sure to torque the screw down well or use thread locker. I didn’t and the screw backed out from running around mid game. Luckily I caught it before it dropped my holster and sidearm, just be cautious!

"Perfect for a half drop holster. Only problem I have with it is the initial screw that came with the product was too short. It wasn’t hard to get one to fit the holster I was trying to attach, it just took a small trip to the hardware store. The screw that worked for my cytac hi-kappa holster was a M6 x 1.0 16mm screw.

"I personally bought this for my Glock holster. I didn’t find much use for it because I bought a different one like three days later but it works. You will need to find a longer screw if you want to attach this to the matrix holsters though. I believe this only fits with a specific model of their holsters but I am not sure. If you want to attach it to a Glock on at least, you’ll need a longer internal screw so it actually brings the two piece together. I didn’t have any luck at Lowe’s or Home Depot, but that might just be me. If you don’t want to have to do minor tinkering then I recommend getting a slightly more expensive set of mid/low ride holsters.

"Holster works well, I prefer this over a full drop leg as it does not move around as much when running. As the user above mentioned, the hardware they give you is not compatible with all Cytac models as they come. However, this is very easily fixable with a $1 trip to the hardware store to get a longer screw. Minor inconvenience but still 5 stars.

"Be wary, P07/P09 holsters, or similar hard-shelled holsters - this may not be compatible. To be *directly* compatible, you need a holster with the screw that secures the holster to the mounting system to be threaded *inwards* - as in the screw is pointing towards your thigh - a quick reference for this is if you can see an Allen key slot for the screw from the outside of the holster.
For better reference, if your hard shell holster DOES NOT have an allen key slot visible from the outside of your holster, like the P07/P09 holsters, this will not be *directly* compatible. You can still make it compatible, you just need to stop by the hardware store, no big deal.
If your holster HAS an allen key slot visible from the outside of the holster, such as the Cytac P320 Hard Shell Holsters (note the hole in the finger-release), then your holster SHOULD be compatible. You shouldn't have too many issues.
If you're like me and you're running a holster that DOES NOT have the allen key slot, you can simply go to a hardware store and pick up a longer screw.
