"Came yesterday and let me say, it's everything I had hoped for. Amazing piece, great quality, and will definitely make you stand out. I highly recommend this gun and if your not sure what to get, this guns quality and performance is unmatched, must by.
(Not a problem with the gun, but mine came with a hole in the box that went through all the packing and took some of the charging handle, probably because of UPS. Didn't effect anything though, just some cosmetic problems, still a great gun!)

"No real problems except that the magazine release can be rotated out of place but it can be rotated right back in

"WW1 nerd here, just bought on of these and I’m pretty stoked about it. It’s a great gun and feels very authentic as it is made out of the beautiful polished wood and metal. Now there is a few things I want to say about it well that I have observed:
1. While the store page claims this gun has a fps range of 300-310 I chronographed it myself and got a consistent reading of 370 fps with .20 g bbs. While that was a good thing for me I feel like it should be mentioned as that is a large fps difference and I understand many people wish to use this as a cqb weapon with lower fps. Still, I personally am glad the fps was higher than I expected.
2. With a 11v LiPo battery I achieved a fire rate of about 10 rps, for all you who want that info. I have also tried the gun with a 8v NiMh battery. I did not Chrono it but the fire rate looked to be the same.
3. Finally, upon the first day I had the gun the safety on it actually broke. Now when I flip the safety toggle on the gun it won’t actually prevent the trigger from working. I don’t know what caused it as I felt I was being gentle with the gun but it is what it is I guess.
Finally, if you were to ask me would I recommend this gun, I would give a definite yes. It is a super real looking and feeling historical replica that not only looks great but also performs very well too. With many historical replicas they only are used in plinking targets but with this Mp-18 you can easily dominate a battlefield just as well as you could with many other guns.

"I got this one not too long ago but was just able to use it during a match and I have to say I love it. Bit on the heavy side but its performance was astounding. Accurate and easy to use in cover and prone.

"Finally took my Mp-18 (it's actually an mp-28) into the field. It's fun, smooth, very solid. It weighs a ton so be sure to find a sling for it. I used a thompson sling at the time, but the real mp28 used a rather generic leather sling. Range/accuracy was great. I did use an 11.1 volt lipo in the stock, I think a lower voltage battery would give you the ability to suppress for a longer duration. Even though the mags hold 130 rounds, the go quick at 11 volts. Semi auto worked fine, hop up is easy to get at. The gun is a delightful surprise, very skirmishable. Magazines fit just fine in standard MP-40 pouches. One downer is it takes time to remember the saftey and selector switch positions which are not in the locations of a real MP-28. (cost cutting measure that I think was worth it). On that topic, Its a full metal and wood submachine gun for only 318... I think that's a great deal. Plus the mags are affordable too.

"My son is really into airsoft, but I had never wanted to try it - until he got the recent Evike Mystery Box, and inside (along with the Desert Eagle pistol he desperately wanted) was the MP18. It's a beautiful gun: solidly built, good craftsmanship, and very unusual. It was love at first sight. I decided to try airsofting for the first time, for no other reason than THAT gun.
The MP18 itself is heavy and a bit awkward, especially for a first-timer. Definitely don't buy it for a little kid. But.. oh my god, it was an absolute blast to use, and I'm totally hooked on both the MP18 and airsoft now.
One caution about the MP18...EVERYONE will want to see it and ask about it and hold it. It's an absolute rock star of a gun.

"A real looker!
While *technically* an MP-28/II more than an MP-18, it's an amazing little gun.
Pros:
-Incredibly accurate with heavy weight pellets. I use .32s and even though it chronos at around 290 with them, they stay dead-on to the point where an entire mag will go in a dinner plate at the length of a regulation speedball field.
-Slow ROF. Not a con! Rather than fiddle with the semi and worry about the trigger pull, which is pretty long, the ROF is low enough that on full auto its not hard to keep it at a fast semi rate.
-Distinctive. Had several people marvel over it and its weight.
Cons:
-Unclear about gearbox. While most sources list "using V2 parts", i have yet to figure out if its possible to put something like a Gate Titan into it.
-Magazines are proprietary and while not as annoyingly low-cap as Snow Wolf's Beretta 38, they're expensive

"Not a bad gun at all, pretty fun too shoot. It's a little heavy but i can look past that. I only wish there was a snail drum option.

"Very well made gun, although my bb's tend to start viering right after about 30m, heavy like a boat anchor also, but overall definitely would recommend getting if you have the chance
Side note: very fun to play with around the house!

"I got this for Christmas. I have not shot it just yet, but I just want to say, HOLY CRAP, it is heavy. I would say it weighs about 10-20 lbs. it feels really good and looks beautiful. If you want the WW1 stormtrooper load out this gun is a must have. Also the bolt feels good. The only bad thing is that it’s a little front heave, but a good grip on the mag well counters this.
TL:DR
It’s heavy, sexy, and feels good in all the right places.

"This gun is very awkward to use. The weight shifts to the left when the mag is inserted. This website lists the fps at 300-310. Another lists it at 290. I measured it at 390 fps at .20 bbs. This gun is an outdoor gun. For its age it obviously doesn't have rails or threads. The gun is also not an MP18 but the MP28. Mp18s magwell is at an angle vs this guns 90 degree magwell. The trigger feels like a bullpup trigger which is longer on the pull. It feels good on a 7.4 and a 11.1.
.
This gun isn't a starting gun but for a historical build it will suffice.

"I cannot speak for performance yet, just looks and build. Got this gun for Christmas
Overall I think the look is perfect, the wood is beautiful in person and it feels solid, the metal feels very sturdy, like it could take a beating. The only issue I have with the build is that the metal will wobble slightly in the stock while the mag is in due to the weight of the heavy mag, but in all honesty I don't think it will break or cause any issues. (Take this from someone who can be quite OCD about how "solid" an airsoft replica can be, I usually hate any wobble. Its not too bad here to be honest.)
As I said before, I can't speak much on performance as I haven't had a chance to go out and try it. But this is honestly one of the coolest looking airsoft guns I now own, and thought the look and feel were great enough to warrant a review.
From a replica standpoint, you will not be disappointed!
