About LCT Airsoft When it comes to Airsoft externals, LCT is one of the most prolific brands on the market. LCT prides themselves in making some of the most realistic replicas in Airsoft through great attention to detail and by closely replicating the same manufacturing processes used to make their real firearm counterparts.LCT shows the same level of commitment for their AEG internals as their externals; the LCT gearboxes feature an enhanced list of parts users would typically upgrade to. These high performance, reinforced internals boast greatly improved reliability while still remaining completely Tokyo Marui (TM) compatible.

" This gun is nicely built however out of the box my example was double feeding due to a bad bucking. LCT's hop units and buckings are known problem parts so replacing both is something I almost always expect to do on these guns.
After replacing the bucking with a Macron from Maple Leaf the consistent double feeding went away.
In order to remove the barrel extension, outer barrel, and sight / gas block from this replica you will first remove the top cover. rotate the take down lever up and pull straight out. Mine came out freely. Pull back on the dust cover while wiggling it left and right. My gun's dust cover was super tight and since the rear sight is on it that's a good thing.
Dust cover should pop off. To reinstall I found it's better and easier to start at the rear then slide the assembly forward and line up the pin hole than it is to line up the pin hole and hinge down. Doing it the later way is difficult due to the tight fit of the sheet metal and the hooks at the rear of the receiver which retain the dust cover.
There are two allen head screws forward of the chamber you will remove and another two allen head screws on the hopup unit. Then you flip the rifle on it's side and knock out the lower handguard retaining pin. You'll know which one it is when you see it as it will have some marring from factory installation. It's the one pin no other AK has on the receiver.
I always go left to right when I remove a pin and opposite for install.
set the hop unit to it's maximum setting and pull forward gently on the barrel assembly. It should separate and move a quarter of an inch. Now comes the fun part.
Flip the gun over and look into the mag well. There's a plate that's keeping you from separating the barrel from the receiver. Use a flat head screw driver to gently bend the two metal prongs that are on either side of the magazine well securing this place then tilt it up and remove. On mine I couldn't bend the plate tabs so I had to tilt and play with the plate and hopup assembly until I could get it to separate.
Once separated pull the outer assembly from the receiver and set it aside. Now pull the hop unit forward until it clears the nozzle and tilt it down then pull it back and over the gearbox. You may have to rotate the entire hop assembly to clear the gearbox.
There's a black plastic tab on the bottom. Pull this out. Then remove the two Phillips head screws on the plastic hop assembly. Remove the sliding arm and flip the hop upside down to allow the arm to swing out the top with the nub. Set the nub aside. Now pull the barrel. It should come out with a brass ring on it and a black bucking. IF the bucking is still in the hop assembly use a punch to gently push it out. Replace with a new bucking then reverse the process.
Once corrected this gun is a joy to shoot and plenty accurate. out of the box my example chronos at 375 with .25 KSC perfect bbs.
As the weapon wears removing the dust cover to install the battery will get easier.
Magazines leave a lot to be desired but Arcturus makes a good AK-12 magazine which can be purchased here on EVIKE.
Overall a good replica of the AK-12 despite incorrect metal finish & lack of accurate trade marks.
" Nice and heavy the ebb has a good kick over all a nice gun
" Great gun and quite enjoyable to play with. When i bought it it was 499 bit it just recently dropped to 420 so if your looking for a gun like this now would be the best time to get it
Pros-
-solid steel construction that feels great and will hold up well in games
-very accurate gun from my personal experience
-the full bolt ebb makes for a unique feel more so to a real firearm
-the tight tolerances although difficult upfront will ensure everything stays in place after its broken in
Cons-
-with the bolt in you are limited to 650 rpm (although you can remove it and it fires much faster but you defeat the point of an ebb)
-you have to watch where your charging handle is because it its obstructed it will strip a gear (personal experience)
-it has a very distinct and loud firing noise so as soon as you fire you will stand out.
Overall i love the gun and i have always loved blowbacks so i would recommend it to anyone wanting an ak blowback. Only problem i have had was when i was leaned against a building and fired and now my semi auto doesnt work. I believe its just a gear but i could be wrong
