"The packaging was not the best as it was delivered in what is basically a flimsy ziplock bag within an envelope. Also the wires are tied in a way that makes it difficult to undo... Depite these details, it worked as advertised, and you don't have to replace all of the circuitry if you don't want to. However if you're not ready to solder anything, but are needing to replace the actual board (because the motor /fuse assembly is welded to it), I would recommend getting assistance from someone more qualified. Thankfully my "Chrono Blaster" is fully functioning again, but I would recommend to stay away from lipo batteries if you'd like to preserve the life of your board and your blaster.

"I have owned four chronoblasters, gifting one each to two of my brothers. The first thing to note is if you plan on keeping the replica for use, absolutely keep one of these kits minimum.

Note: the onboard stock mosfet will need a heatsink or swapped to a newer mosfet. There are a few videos put out on youtube by myself and other youtubers on that process that will help. (Parzival_PC / SpartanJess)

If you're using the replica as a collectors piece or display, no spare required so long as no battery is connected to the motor leads, and if so DO NOT USE A LIPO. The mosfet cannot handle the heat and will burn at the traces of the board. I've seen plenty of chronoblasters with charred boards, although salvageable, leaves the board in a questionable state.

When replacing the LEDS, be wary of their pins and the wires soldered to them, I myself had to resolder them a few times and it is some precise work with the thin pins and wiring. Also be careful when running your wires/LEDs, they can easily get caught on the two shell halves when closing up the chronoblaster, go slow, use a small amount of hot glue to support and you should be in good shape.

I'm leaving the kit with a mid review, only good thing is the availability at all, never expected to actually see the electronics available and it has saved me more than once. Major downside being the known mosfet problem and battery capabilities and yet they remain unchanged. It is unfortunate but as I said, grateful it is even offered.

I do not know how long they'll be available, as of 2022/11/15 I have ordered (7) in a single batch today and (2) March 2021.

Chronoblaster info:
-Mags top portion that rests against hopup can be brittle and crack often, the plastic material as a whole is brittle.
-Similiar to the mag top half, the rear buttstock that the rubber cover goes for 9v port can crack and completely remove at the screws to the rifle, opening the 9v area to the elements in a permanent way.
-Proprietary mags, gearbox shell, electronics, and hopup that is similar to AK's but not quite.
