Dytac SLR Rifleworks RMR Slide Kit for Elite Force GLOCK 19 Gen.3 Airsoft GBB Pistols

"Reading the older reviews for this, it looks like they'd changed a number of things from the previous design. This needs NOTHING to work on a stock Umarex Elite Force Glock 19 Gen 3. It was incredibly simple to swap the parts over (I used a small amount of tape to hold the RMR posts to the slide while putting the BBU back in). It also comes with a thin metal cover so that the top of the BBU and return spring are not exposed. All the factory parts work in the slide so don't bother buying the list an old review mentioned. Make sure to grab the SLR magwell and mag extension to complete the 'look'

"Alright, it's been a week of trying to fit this slide to my EF Glock 19 and it's finally fully functional. First of all, it's a really good looking slide with a notch for rmr and I love the look. BUT when you first get it, be prepared to spend hours and money custom fitting this to your glock. It's definitely tighter than the stock slide so it'll need lots of lube, some new parts, and lots of breaking it in. Here is the parts list that I purchased to make this slide work:
- Replacement Piston Recoil Guide for Elite Force / UMAREX GLOCK 17 (This will work on the 19)
- Evike.com Silicone Oil Spray (Very important)
- Pro-Arms 130% Reinforced Steel Recoil Rod for Elite Force GLOCK 19X (This helps with the cycling)
- Evike.com Silicone Grease (This was very helpful)
Even with all of these on the slide, it'll take a while breaking it in to make sure the slide with cycle. So be prepared to spend lots of time cranking the slide and drenching it with lube.
Now it works very well, cycles like a champ, slide has no wobble, and it looks awesome. Very pleased with the product!

"Bought this for a Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3 laser training pistol so I could mount a fake Trijicon RMR. For that purpose, it worked great. The mock extractor would not fit/stay in place, and I ended up having to buy a new nozzle return spring as I ended up breaking the OEM on trying to get it out while replacing the internals, but otherwise it worked just fine.

Good choice for anyone who has a Smokeless Range and wants to be able to use an Amazon $40 optic.

"So got this kit in and have been messing with it for a couple of days now. It looks great and is a good aftermarket slide kit option if youre willing to mess with it to get it to work just right. Couple of things that should be noted: the screws supplied to either hold an RMR or hold the slide cover where the RMR would go are made of really crappy material and Id recommend replacing them with better quality M2.5 screws. One of my screws stripped by just torquing it down a small amount and I had to dremel it out. The other thing to know is that the slide fits VERY tight to both the slide and the provided outer barrel. While the slide-to-frame fitment is a good thing, the outer barrel can cause the slide to get hung up on it and WILL strip the finish off of both the front of the chamber and underneath the top of the slide. While on the topic of the finish, the kit isnt finished very well and the paint does wear out quickly after reholstering your pistol a couple of times.
This kit is definitely a solid enough choice if youre looking for an optics ready slide but understand you get what you pay for when compared to more expensive slide kits bought overseas.

"The slide does not come with instructions, nor are their any diagrams included with the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3 pistol that describe how to remove the internals from the slide. I couldn't find a guide online nor videos on YouTube so I had to work it out for myself.

I had trouble removing the piston recoil guide, which seemed to be glued into the stock slide. I managed to get it out with moderate, stead pressure and a pair of needle nose pliers. Getting the guide to stay put in the new slide with a whole other challenge, so put a drop of Loctite on it, which helped keep it in place long enough to put the bolt in.

I worked out that I needed install the red dot mounting hardware before anything else, then the guide and nozzle spring, blowback housing, barrel and finally the recoil guide rod assembly.

I could NOT get the fake extractor installed as there was no room for it to fit between the inside of the slide and the blowback housing so I had to leave it off. Since it's purely cosmetic, I imagine it works fine without it.

I use this pistol in conjunction with a recoil enabled laser training system (Smokeless Range) and it fired just great. The red dot sits a little higher than the real thing, and I would have preferred to have the iron sight forward of the red dot, but otherwise it works great, and is a terrific analog of the real thing.

I was advised by Evike via support chat that the Sig Air is compatible with this slide, it is NOT as it's intended to only fit the M17/M18 air pistol. A shame as it's a very well-made red dot for the money so unfortunately I'll have to send it back.

What I did end up using was a SOTAC M-002, which is a cheap Chinese clone of the Trijicon RMR, the red dot I have for my actual Glock 19. The SOTAC M-002 fit just fine with the screws that came with slide, so I had trouble getting it on and zeroed.

All in all, I accomplished what I set out to do with the this slide and am happy with my purchase.
