EMG Helios Noveske Licensed N4 Gas Blowback M4 w/ Mlok Handguard (Model: 7" Pistol)

"As a lover of ar15s, this gun was a great replica. The realism of the bolt and trigger blew me away. It has a great weight and feel to it. Do know that it only holds 50 rounds thus makes it more of a challenge in the arena, but if you are looking for more fun and a challenge, this is the gun for you.
Pros:
Great recoil
All metal
Looks very realistic inside and out
Very easy to break down like a ar 15
The bolt locks back after empty magazine

Cons
The hop up is in an inconvenient place that make it somewhat of a hassle to access. You have to take apart the hand guard to get to it. The hop up is also very sensitive. However it is still manageable.
The accuracy is alright. It wont make a huge difference in closer combat, but will make it harder for long range precision shooting.

Overall this is a great gun for the price. I was pleasantly surprised the more and more I used it. I have had no problems shooting it. I’ve shot my fair share of aeg rifles and would choose this gbb rifle any day over an aeg.

"Pros:
Shoots excellent out of the box. Accuracy and hopup performance comparable to my krytac aeg. Hops .32s out to about 155-175ft and can definitely hop heavier bbs, just haven't tried it yet.
Nice finish

Cons: (nothing really bad [so far] just nitpicking)
The recoil impulse is a little lacking compared to my other WA GBBR. (could be remedied with a heavier bolt)
Hand guard came a little loose from the factory, simply tighten it down more.
Gas magazine was leaking air. (remove the input valve lubed it up tighten it back and it was airtight)

All in all really good rifle for the money. I bought an overpriced GHK which had lower performance out of the box compared to this gun, just has better externals and a harder kick.

"The overall quality is good. Good craftsmanship and good performance out of the box. I'm satisfied with this gun as my first GBBR, and I think this is an excellent entry-level choice. There are three minor issues. First is that it comes with some scratches. Fortunately, the scratch is on the iron sight, not on the main body of the gun, so I can remove it or just tolerate it. Another issue is that it comes with a Magpul-style magazine rather than a normal magazine as advertised. This is not a big problem, and I kind of prefer the Magpul one tho. The third issue is that the gun is not lubed from factory at all. This is not a big problem if you already have some lube, but if this is your first experience I suggest you purchase a gun lube together with this gun.

"First off it’s a great performer out the box.

Pro’s

Great kick
Full metal upper & lower
Full metal rail
Steel internals
-14mm
Great trigger reset
Rail nut(the internal that ring that holds the rail)

Cons

Rail is q-mod
Stock is a little goofy( wiggles/ play)

Grip( I don’t like the grip because of the little notch that intrudes into my finger)

This might happen with yours when you get it:

Leaky mag
Some scratched areas

Over I like how it shoots and it feels in had I would recommend it just because it’s licensed and has full steel internals so no improvements needed

"This is an update on my previous review. I love this gun but the consistency of the bbs are trash. Everything else is great when it comes to functionality and recoil.

"Pros:
- Lightweight
- Solid construction
- Ambidextrous lower
- Steel in the parts that matter
- Iron sights are actually very nice and usable
- Moving parts feel smooth with little play or resistance (once greased)

Cons:
- Handguard screws strip easily
- Plastic lugs
- Buttstock had some side-to-side play, some ducktape on the top of the buffer tube fixed it
- Moving parts don't come greased, easy fix and would've reapplied myself anyways
- Magazine catch is very stiff and I had to slap the magazine in about 50 times before it smoothed out

Glaring Issues:
- Last round bolt hold-open doesn't catch in full-auto
- Bolt sometimes catches on the magazine gas lip when inserted and fails to go into battery
- Magazine gas fill valve leaks a TON of gas when refilling, haven't sorted the issue with this out yet
- Handguard is keymod, not MLOK like the picture and title suggest
- There is only ONE Noveske mark and it's on the receiver. All the other ones shown are nowhere on my rifle

Overall, I don't regret my purchase but can't recommend it at the listed price of $299 for anyone who isn't keen on maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting. This is not a gun that "just works"

"Bought this rifle a while back and here's how it went:

Pros:
-Aesthetically pleasing
-decent external construction / metal parts
-Well constructed fire control group, trigger has a very nice feel to it

Cons:
-The loading nozzle that came with this gun was absolutely horrible, upon taking it apart (I build gas rifles all the time, this was a little side-project for me) I noticed the nozzle was very cheap lightweight plastic, the back end of the nozzle didn't fit flush with the front end of the nozzle. Not good.

-The Noveske licensing / logo was only on the bottom receiver, no emblem on the barrel as pictured in the listing.

-The magazine that it came with didn't seal and wouldn't fill. Also was lightweight plastic junk, threw this in the trash after attempting to fill it and failing miserably.

-The inner barrel stops WAY short of the outer barrel. No idea why they chose to do this considering they could've put at least another 25mm on there to maintain a little accuracy

-The hop-up unit is hidden beneath the outer barrel shroud and also beneath the barrel nut, you have to disassemble the entire front of the gun to adjust the hopup at all

-The buttstock was loose wobbly and cheaply made and fitted.

-THIS GUN WOULD NOT FIRE 3 ROUNDS in a row without chopping a bb and JAMMING the entire Bolt carrier group.

-The barrel shroud / RIS system was literally bent 10 degrees to the left, which was very noticeable upon aiming it with iron sights (they didn't align properly). I had to literally bend it back with my hands on a kitchen table all the while fearing I'd snap the gun in half.

Fixes:
-installed a salient npas bolt carrier group w/ properly assembled loading nozzle
-installed TNT hop up
-installed new buttstock that actually fit the rifle.
-GHK GMAGS

After spending 200 dollars on top of the 300 for the initial purchase, this gun actually fires without jamming and is at least useable.

Don't buy this unless you plan to rebuild the internals yourself.

"**DO NOT BUY THIS GUN***
If you never buy a product based off a review.. make it this one.

Where do I begin. Ill start back to when I opened the package. Upon opening the package, I immediately discovered that I was shipped the Keymod rail system instead of the MLOK. Which was impressive in its self as there is not a product option for the gun in 9" keymod rail. I checked the rail was still 9" however it was keymod. Then, I picked up the rifle, and immediately how sickening loose the stock was. Whoever drilled the hole for the buffer tube on the stock, must have been highly intoxicated while running the machine.

Despite these things, I decided to give the rifle a try. I have always had good luck with evike products in the past, and these were things I was able to look past even tho I was upset with the lack of attention to detail. As I loaded the magazine that came with the gun, the magazine would not fill gas properly and began spewing around the inlet. I used an unacceptable amount of my Vulcan green gas attempting to fill it up. I was able to get enough gas into the magazine to shoot it. I tried the Matrix magazine I purchased with the gun. That magazine was even worse. While I could fill the magazine. While shooting the rifle, It would sporadically purge itself from all the green gas.

Upon shooting the rifle I became infuriated. The rifle is so incredibly inaccurate, I couldn't hit a human sized target at 100 feet. I used both .28 gram Elite force and .32 Vulcan precision BB's without any different results in accuracy. While I was shooting the rifle, I noticed that the rifle was consistently breaking BB's. Both the Elite Force and the Vulcan. The rifles poor performance and breaking of BB's makes it unable to be used in any capacity other than a oversized paper weight.

At this point I was irate. However, I have been wanting to get into the GBBR scene for a while to train more realistically, so I decided to see if adjusting the hopup would help tame this wildly inaccurate rifle. I took the handguard off, as required to do, and made my way to the hopup adjustment. The hopup adjustment was incredibly stiff, but with some time and effort I made, what I believed was an appropriate adjustment. I then re-attached the handguard so I could have a stable platform to test the hopup adjustment. While screwing the screws into the handguard, one screw broke while being screwed in..... Yes, It broke, while being screwed in..... All other screws were secured without issue.
