" I recently did a comparison test using a M16 with 510mm barrel and M120 spring @ 1.45j. Did it with the pdi w hold and maple leaf mr hop, both 70° variants. I can say with certainly the pdi is the better deal. Just eyeballing it, range was about the same, but accuracy on the pdi was better, and there were fewer number of flyers vs the mr hop. According to some of the top dmr experts, a thick patch like maple leaf is only effective with greater fps, like 450+, but I dont have a "dmr" to test that theory. For only $7.5, this definitely wins the standard bucking championship for anything that nots a maple leaf, flat hop, or r hop. Its design seals nicely and I cannot stress this enough, is very easy to center. Some recommend to use it with an H nub or split type nub, which I may try next. Its also much better than anything reaps. I noticed the older reaps a+ tries to hybridize the thick patch of a maple leaf with the split "V" of a pdi, but I only ever got mediocre accuracy (tried 60 & 70° over 3 different aegs). That was years ago, and the new reaps are not as thick, but hard to center and still not good unfortunately as I ordered one at the same time as this one for laughs and giggles.
Moral of the story, if youre like me and have AEGs under 1.5j, pay half the price of a maple leaf nub combo and get this pdi. Works great with a regular symmetrical nub or one of those action army ones they sell here.

Moral of the story, if youre like me and have AEGs under 1.5j, pay half the price of a maple leaf nub combo and get this pdi. You may have to trim depending on how tight it fits. Works great with a regular symmetrical nub or one of those action army ones they sell here.
" I've tried everything under the sun, Maple leafs, R hops, TM, Modify.
PDI W-hold is by far the best. It will lift anything up to around .43g
Anything past that, you will need an R-hop but for something thats easy to install, and repeatable, All of my guns and my friends guns use W-hold buckings
They can reach out to 250ft with .28g at 290fps on a man size target reliably. (M nub installed)
