"Ok, I just received my new real wood A&K SVD Dragunov, and I am literally blown away. This gun looks and feels like a real Dragunov. Construction appears very high quality. The wood is gorgeous, and everything else is real metal. While I haven't taken it to the field yet, I did test it out in the backyard and I am very impressed. Not sure the FPS, but it completely and totally demolished an aluminum can at about 25 feet. Literally the kind of damage you would expect from a 22LR. I have a feeling this gun will be deadly as a DMR. I might even like it better than my AR's. I find it hard to believe that anyone who buys this gun will be disappointed. Definitely a great gun for the collection. All I need now is a side mounted scope mount and a decent scope.

"Just got it no manual no YouTube videos on this version of svd and the issues in the past and complaints have all being addressed you can change battery with just your fingers yes took a while to figure it out watch many videos of different manufacturers and older models but at the end you just put finger pressure on front lever by hand guard and it all comes out easy at least in the wood hand guard the battery I used a lipo 7.5 butterfly and a mosfet fit perfect no issues just make sure all cables inside hand guard. Had issues with full auto switch keep coming up as you shoot fix by bending bar a little also take apart they change how they attaches internals so take your time and look around . Svd scope can’t get it to slide in but I figure with some blue chalk I’ll figure out the issue and grind out the part of rail causing issue so that svd scope can go all the way in. The funny part is that scope rail n rifle look just like the real one so don’t know why it doesn’t slide all the way in I figure I may have to grind some part of rail a millimeter to get it through I’ll update when I get it working . It’s a beautiful rifle not heavy shoots like a laser cans won’t stop your bbs lol it’s going to hurt 🤣

"Looks good feels good haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I have one moderate problem, it didn't come as advertised,as in there is no instruction manual. Instead there's about 400 Bb's in a pouch, don't know what weight but would've been nice to have the manual before I chewed up the tip of the hand guard with two flatheads trying to pry the brace off. Didn't do too much damage, barely noticeable which in turn means real fine plastic, still kinda sad that I have to scour the internet for second hand disassembly guides instead of having a nifty piece of paper telling me how to open it up. The only other things I can say makes me sound like a broken record, though I already sound that way, have a good night. :3

"I have had this gun for a few months and brought it to a few games
Pros:
mostly metal
full auto sniper rifle
good range
good price
magazines are cheap
doesn't use power fast
cons:
battery is very annoying: you need metric Allen wrenches and not much space for battery
I got no manual, but might just be a problem for me
overall if you need a budget SVD or just a long range battle rifle, definately worth the buy

"This gun is very simple and strong. Out of the box it fires around 450 fps with 30 gram bbs. It is easy to access the spring compartment and to do an entire breakdown of the gun. The accuracy is excellent, but it is rather hard to adjust the hop up. To adjust the hop up you have to slide the bolt back and us a alen wrench to adjust the hex screw on the hop up system. Turn the hex screw right for more hop and turn left for less hop. The gun comes separated from the stock. The instructions are not very informative and do not explain how to attach a stock. I found out that you have to remove the spring first with a alen wrench then insert the fillips head screws that came with the rifle to attach the stock. This rifle is great. I am going to convert this rifle to co2 to increase the power. All in all this is a great gun. The instructions however are not as descriptive as I would like. The box will say AIM Top instead of Matrix, because it will be badged as AIM in some countries and Matrix in others. Great rifle would recommend to all snipers out there.

"I got this gun off of the open box mystery iteam. I love the gun. Everything is really sold and the accuracy is amazing. My problem is the gun is almost as tall as me lol. But it is a really good gun from my experience and shots hard.

"I just got my svd 2 today. This gun is freaking amazing. I had a laundry list of mods waiting for its arrival.
Stock on .20's I was shooting 465-480fps. I didn't clean the barrel as I had a Promy waiting to install. Which I believe accounts for the wide variances in fps. Yes it was dirty after removing it. With the gun perfectly stock I was able to hit a smallish pine tree consistently at 150 feet. Granted the wind was over 15mph and I was shooting .20's.
The stock trigger assembly is all metal and should suffice for some time even modded. The stock hop was very serviceable, albeit not user friendly as you have remove the top cover and then use a small allen to adjust it. The airsoft pro unit can be adjusted by hand once the gun is cocked without removing anything. The stock bucking delivered decent consistency out of the box. I was pleasantly surprised.
Here are the mods I installed. All purchased from airsoftpro.cz as they have solid svd parts.
1. Airsoft pro Hopup with G&G green bucking
2. Prometheus 550mm 6.03 barrel
3. Airsoft Pro piston
4. Airsoft Pro cylinder
5. AIrsoft cylinder head
6. Progressive m160 spring
7. Airsoft Pro spring centering pin-I had to mod this by drilling it out to use it. I believe it was based off of the a&k svd 1. the the svd2 I received had a much different centering pin. I drilled out the airsoft pro piece and used it as well. This parts adds distance to the spring and ended me with higher than intended fps.
8. I did not install the airsoft pro piston latch, as the stock latch is metal..I will use it till it breaks
Mods I am still waiting for arrival
1. The silencer adapter-I went with a shorter barrel and cut the outer barrel down as I wanted a shorter gun, I also cut the hand grip down as well. After the silencer is installed the gun will be almost 10" shorter.
2. Airsoft pro inner barrel retainer. The stock one has only two grub screw holding it together. Those two grub screws support the whole outer/inner barrel essentially.
After the aforementioned mods the gun was shooting 579 fps with no hop up applied. I am allowed 3.5 joules for my field limit so this is acceptable. I was aiming for 550 fps. Fps variance wass 2-5 fps /- I am using the $20 ak/svd mount and the 3-12x40 scope both from evike. This gun is a bad@#! sniper that is easy to work on with great performance out of the box. Stock the cocking pull is fairly strong , after the install I was very glad I purchased the cocking lever extender.
TLDR-Just buy this freaking thing! You won't be sorry and you won't be like every other sniper sporting a vsr!

"AWESOME GUN! (PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE DOUBLE FEED ISSUES)
However, you really have to play around with it to get a feel for how it shoots. It is NOT like most of the other sniper rifles I have used... this one requires a little more attention.
The other reviews are correct when they say that the gun double feeds. It's true. To fix the problem, I actually added spike tape to the magazines so that they would not wobble as much. I built up the rear side of the mags as well as the sides with tape, and the wobble/weak feeding issue is solved. Literally 90% of my issues went a away with this gun after fixing the magazines.
Now, it does occasionally double feed. To fix this, I used a drill press (you might be able to do it by hand), with a 5mm bit and made a VERY small indent inside of the hopup chamber. That way, when the bbs feed through, the one in the chamber is secured by the indent just enough so that another bb won't push through, and when the cylinder pushes one forward to fire, it doesn't crack in half. SO MUCH BETTER! Literally zero double feeds.
If you aren't willing to fiddle with the gun, this probably won't be your first choice of rifle. However, if you take the time and work with it, you will have an extremely accurate, heavy-hitting sniper rifle.

"had this gun for almost a month now and really enjoy it. i love how accurate it is without any upgrading. it is a great beginners rifle and won't let you down easily. i didn't bother buying the overpriced scope that was recommended, stead i bought an okay AIM 6X40 scope, which i find the best for this range. nevertheless, i have had a couple problems with feeding. such as, it would either get jammed (might be a bb quality issue) double feed, or simply won't shoot because the bb won't get pushed out of the mag. i intend to buy another mag for my rifle because even though i like the one i have, i feel there are better ones out there. my favorite moment with my gun is shooting my friend between the eyes from 100 feet away. i will definitely recommend this gun to you buyers out there and enjoy sniping

"I love this gun its really long and powerful. The only thing I have against it is the battery case in the hand gaurd is super annoying to use. Otherwise the gun is great and its full auto.
