Matrix Gear RD6600KC Low Profile Compact Red Dot Sight

"I bought this as a sight for my AKS74u with the rear sight block rail (I don't know the name of the kind of rail). It has served me really well! Pretty bright, not super crisp or clear, but it does its job. Nothing high-end, but an excellent option for a budget micro red dot.

"I initially bought this Red Dot sight as a temporary solution for my War Sport and later moved it to an RMR plate on a GBB. I overlooked the fact that the toggle switch protrudes from the bottom when the Picatinny rail is removed. Despite the lack of RMR compatibility, this is a great Red Dot sight for the price!

"Good optic, has a good visual appear. Unfortunately the wire that connects the red dot light to the battery system came frayed so it didn’t work. You may be able to find a better deal on Amazon but Evike immediately accepted my return request.

"This was a decent micro red dot for the price. It came in a generic brown box with a sticker label that contained the mode number. It did not come with any instructions (you don’t really need them, but they are still nice to have), but it did come pre-installed with a button type battery, and had an Allen key for installation, and a tiny flat head screwdriver to adjust the dot position. The micro switch on the back was ok, but is difficult to manipulate with gloves on. My biggest gripe that turned me away from this red dot was lack of brightness adjustment. I have astigmatism, and the red dot is so bright that the glare takes up the whole lens. It’s an excellent little red dot for bright daylight, but for indoors in the dark, it doesn’t work well for my situation. If you don’t have the same issues as me, this red dot could be a solid buy for you.
