" I got this for the Golden Eagle Dusker shogun and it works great with it. Something’s to note are that you have to remove the 2 side plates our else it won’t fit in some shotguns. There is also an o-ring inside that you can pull out and it’ll fix any feeding issues. This is much better and looks better than the previously bought “Air System+ M4 AEG Magazine Adapter for Tokyo Marui Spec Airsoft Shotguns”.
Pros:
Looks and feeds great
Cons:
Have to tweak it to your shotgun
" Tested this with a JAG Super CQB. Did not need to remove the loading gate, but had to pull off the two pieces at the top of the adapter, which is easy enough and reversible. But I immediately found that I was having issues with BBs actually feeding into the adapter - tried various magazines I own and all of them had issues (Specna stock mag, G&P High RPS, Krytac 150rd, BAMF 2.0 and MAG VN).
Initially thought it was adapter nozzle not engaging the magazine properly, but it was actually an o-ring inside of the adapter nozzle being slightly too thick for BBs to feed properly - the springs in the magazines simply weren't strong enough to overcome the friction. Very lightly sanded it down and issue was resolved, though I will look for an o-ring that works without modification. Note that you can just remove the o-ring entirely, but then you lose 8+ BBs whenever you change mags since the o-ring is there to keep them in place.
Of course after fixing that, I then found that the adapter was failing to load BBs into the shotgun itself. After wiggling the adapter/magazine around and testing to see when it'd actually load, I found that I needed to shim the back of the slug portion of the adapter. I just put three pieces of painter's tape and that did the trick (also poked a hole so the shell release button could catch properly).
After these minor tweaks it feeds as it should and is working with all my magazines, and definitely increases the viability of the shotgun. While modifications were needed, they are pretty easy to do and the challenge was figuring out the actual solutions.
" Works in a JAG Arms Scattergun if you remove the two little plastic side pieces on top of the M4 magwell. Magazine retention could be a little better, as I had a few mags fall out when I held it against my chest as my mag pouches hit the release button. I recommend using Evike BAMF mags with it, but 6 round mode doesn't always fire 6, usually 4 or 5. To get 6 rounds every time, you need an electrically wound highcap. This doesn't bother me much as I just use 3 round mode to conserve ammo. Overall, very happy with it.
