" Pretty sure this is the same gearbox I bought last year as they are both CYMA, the internals are really nice cyma platinum with 13:1 gears and with the blue grease and blue polycarbonate piston and plastic pieces. AS MINE IS THE PLATINUM MAKE SURE TO GET AN UPGRADE OR SPARE TRIGGER SYSTEM, PREFERABLY A NEW MOSFET-I Suggest the perun mosfet or jefftron leviathan, as they are both good cheaper alts to Gate.
" Solid gearbox if you are wanting to swap an old gearbox for a new one. Or for a budget build from the ground up! It is very upgradable and with the quick change spring guide. This makes DIY tech upgrades very easy and less intimidating! Few major issues for super tech savvy players. The cylinder does not properly fit for the gearbox and there is play to it. There is a leak to the air nozzle and cylinder head. But it still retains fps output especially with the CYMA rotary hopup (regular or even tracer). The gearbox has 8mm bushings so if you wish to upgrade to bearings there you go. Also this gearbox accepts most hair triggers or even the Evike brand ones! You will have to modify the contact of these ones in order to shorten the traveling distance for the contact. But there are tons of YT videos showing DIYs and best hair triggers of each year! Hope this helps!
" So far this gearbox and motor has been great. Fast and snappy on semi and cycles flawlessly. Also has a nice sound to it. The only complaint I have is how stiff the wires are. It’s hard to have my stock fully compressed without feeling like I’m hurting wires and had to get a new connection soldered on where the motor connects because it snapped. The performance of this gearbox and motor doesn’t disappoint though
