"Good Quality gearbox, just recieved it yesterday and to confirm there's a mictoswitch trigger inside.

"I bought this because I needed a quick change spring V2 gearbox.
I was surprised to see a metal selector plate and a very clicky microswitch.
Unfortunately the selector plate is proprietary, safety will only work on M4's.
You will need to modify the current selector plate or modify a new one for it to work with other platforms.
In my experience a gearbox with a microswitch usually can't fit a titan or aster type MOSFET.
But I'm only going to use an inline MOSFET to keep the microswitch so no biggie.
Philips screws with lock washers will ensure that the gearbox won't unscrew itself from firing.
Still a very good quality QC gearbox for $28

"I pressed in a shs 8mm bushing and it bent the shell outwards right behind the selector plate. Everything else was fine

"For M4's and M4's only.
Cannot be easily modified to fit other V2 AEGs. The tappet plate is proprietary there is not enough material to cut out for MP5s and other AEGs.
Cannot use Asters, Titans, or trigger board MOSFETs (known with most micro-switch triggers).
The labor to modify it to work will cost more than just buying a new V2 gearbox. (unlike the ZCI ones).
If you are wanting this for an M4 variant and only looking for in-line MOSFETS, then this should work ok.
Anything other than that I would pick a different QD shell.
Evike needs to change it's description for compatibility to state only M4 variants
