Airsoft.com "Shapes" Target System for Airsoft Training (Model: Hex Star)

"My first Airsoft Target (outside of a few glass bottles I had lying around) and I had an absolute blast with it. The Large Texas Star is a lot smaller than I had anticipated, so definitely check the product dimensions to make sure you're ok with the size. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how freely the star rotates; it may as well be frictionless.

If you have a LPAEG, this target might not be for you. Using 0.2g bbs, my Krytac P90 AEG (~400 FPS) blasts the white plates off with ease. However, my Tokyo Marui MP5A5 NGRS AEG (~290fps) occasionally struggled to make a plate fall off upon hitting it using single-fire semi-auto shots; I've found that attaching the plates to stick out further (so there is less magnet contacting the plate to hold it in place) helps this issue a bit. Worth noting I did not experience this issue using burst fire. Also, if you hit the plates off too fast in a way that encourages the star to spin too fast, the centrifugal force alone may cause a plate to fall off, but this only happened to me once.

The Texas Star comes disassembled, but assembly is VERY easy (I am awful with a wrench and even I could do it) and it comes with everything you need to assemble it, including a visual assembly instruction sheet; there's no need to own any extra tools.

All in all, the Large Texas Star arrived and performed exactly as advertised and gave me an incredible first impression at dynamic target practice. Definitely more fun than shooting bottles.
