"I bought a couple (Avengers Vigor Series Heavyweight Airsoft Spring Pistol (Model: 1911 / Blue)) to get a feel for Duel-Wielding. It was rather amusing having some kids come up to me in awe, until I'd tell them they were simply "Springers", then they'd just stare at me like 'bruh' ... anyways.
These pistols (or at least the ones I bought) are good at what they are, you'll get what you pay for. They're sturdy, and fun to finger-spin with due to the weight inside, making them satisfying just to hold altogether.
If you're looking to try at how it feels to use a pistol, or looking to have a simple spare on-hand for yourself or a friend, I'd recommend these.
PROS:
• Surprisingly sturdy (there's a lil' magazine-shake, but other than that it's a solid build).
• Fun designs to choose from~
• Decent price for what it is, I personally didn't feel ripped-off.
• Decent FPS for a Springer at this price.
• Great for finger-spinning practice/tricks (*I know it's obvious, but try not to finger-spin when it's cocked/primed, these don't have Safety Modes and the triggers are very sensitive, sensitive to the point I recommend actually keeping your finger off the trigger until you see a target you're wanting to take a shot at.)
CONS:
• Magazine is plastic, so it could break if you're not careful with it. Hold down the spring with your thumb while you load it, and gently let go once it's full.
• Not always accurate. (I've watched a couple of my shots randomly go left or right.)
• Sometimes the BB will fall out of the barrel after cocking, leaving you with nothing to shoot.
• Cocking back the slide is difficult.
___ If you're a kid or someone who may not have a lot of strength, be prepared for some difficulty when loading these, I'd say it's a little more challenging then a plastic foam-dart gun, so be weary if you've got your eyes on this. I recommend wearing rubber/friction gloves when using these during a match as to not run down your skin.
FUN TIP:
It's been mentioned a couple times I think already, but !
+ Cocking this weapon more than once will build up a few BB's or more inside, and once you fire, it'll act like a mini low-FPS shotgun blast.
NOTES:
- The trigger hammer does NOT activate the shot nor can be used to cancel a cock/load like a traditional firearm.
___ To cancel a cock/load, firmly pull back the slide mechanism and hold it there, hold down the trigger, and gently slide it back, and then release the trigger. You'll lose a couple BB's by doing this, but it's helpful to know when a match is over.
- The "Safety" Ramp acts as a load-halter, NOT a trigger-halter.
- The "Slide Lever" that pulls up on traditional handguns when a mag is empty does NOT function on this Springer, in fact, it's just an imprinted shape, having no functionality whatsoever, it's just for looks.
Overall a great start for getting to know an Airsoft pistol for just ~$20, yes it's a Springer, but hey, that'll mean nothing if you're the one pulling the trigger on your target first.

"I got the 2011 Compact model and it is one of the nicest spingers I have used. It is very accurate for a springer, very sturdy, and as powerful as some larger springers around the same price. As a bonus you can rack multiple shots at a time for a "shotgun" effect. And the best part is that if you get a long rod like a piece of a clothe hanger, you can use it as a ram rod and manually load it through the barrel, which effectively gives you a cheap flintlock.

"I bought one and was surprised by the weight and the feel of this pistol. Don't expect too much out of it; it is just a springer, but it's good for having a few laughs in your backyard with friends or family.

"Wow im surprised nobody has bought one these this a surprisingly well made Airsoft spring pistol i got V14 and its pretty solid for a springer now i've only been using it for a few hours and cant say theres many problems with it. i don't plan on taking it to the field but i bet this is good for backyard.
Pros:
1. Heavyweight alloy construction.
2. Nice and somewhat comfortable grip.
3. Easy to pull slide.
4. 13-12 mag capacity which is alright.
Cons.
1. Only problem i really had was the mag feeling a tiny bit shaky but this pretty good.
So far in my opinion i think its great and well made you could probably use it as a prop or backyard airsofting.

"It is more than expected for the price. Out of box, the FPS on this gun was more than said. I got a solid 275 fps on its first shot.

"I'm really interested in getting into airsoft and was looking for somewhere to start, so I picked up this pistol.
For 5 dollars, you really can't beat it! Quite accurate, decent range, easily concealable, great for new players and people looking for props.
DETAILS:
My hand is the perfect size for this pistol, and as a sidearm/last-resort, it should be perfect for yours too. Priming the gun is easy, but my one complaint is how the magazine sometimes malfunctions and either loads two BBs at once, or none at all.

"This is actually a decent side arm. Not bad for the price.

"This gun is honestly the best thing to ever happen. Just for $2 you can get a dependable sidearm. Obviously you shouldn't expect wonders, but at least at around 10-15 feet you can hit someone in an emergency situation. Cheetos cost more so get this gun :]

"best pistol EVER
i've been able to 360 noscope people from across the map with this EPIC primary!
the recoil on this thing is pretty rad too, i shot this from my shooter's stance and it's still able to blow out BOTH of my shoulders. overall 11/10 honestly should be worth more than the "as seen on evike tv' patch
truly beautiful

"It has almost the same weight as my WG revolver and my 13 year old cousin loves it. The paint job is decent for a $15 gun ($12 when we bought it) and it has metal in all the right places. Overall little fun and noisy pistol that you can give to your little cousin and introduce him to airsoft.

"This gun is a good one. I bought it for my little sister and boy, she really loves it! Not only is it heavy (metal) but the accuracy is good too. It's not strong enough to go through aluminum cans but trust me, it hurts a lot. The design makes it look like a real gun except for the orange flash hider at the tip. Good gun for 10 dollars. Just throw it into your cart. I garantee that this will make you happy. 12 bb magazine. The magazine is small and plastic so that might not be too good but what can you expect from 10 dollars. JG isn't making crappy springers anymore. This is the real deal!

"These guns aren't good. I bought 3 of these because I was placing an order for a gun on an Epic Deal for $80 and I wanted free shipping. I bought the blue 1911, tan 2011 and silver grey 2011 compact. All 3 guns had paint issues straight out of the box. The 1911 was all scratched and scuffed, like someone dropped it in the factory and it skidded, but they didn't care and put it in the box anyway. The other 2 had bubbles in the paint. All 3 guns have decent weight due to the metal in their construction. For use in maybe a cosplay or as a prop gun, they may be OK. That's the only reason they get 2 stars. Firing them isn't enjoyable. The 1911 hits high and to the left of where I aim it, while the 2011 compact hits to the right. The 2011 is the worst, the .12g BBs were actually dropping so fast that they were hitting below my target, even at about 10 feet. This is unacceptable. I know these are cheap springer pistols, but you can honestly get all plastic springers in this price range that will be very good and accurate. The plastic will be sturdy and they won't have the issues that these guns have.
