"Pretty awesome little pistol. I was looking for a compact sized pistol for cqb and the smaller vx9 version is awesome. good weight and feels durable. one very minor complaint is the trigger is made of polymer and it feels a little flimsy at times, but the polymer frame feels great. 10/10 would recommend for a well performing low-ish cost pistol.

"Excellent product I purchased this with the specific intent to build a one to one scale airsoft gun to my real steel for shooting practice I must say this product is just a hair bigger in all around dimensions than my actual real steel firearm however it works out as I intended it to… I have not fielded this airsoft gun in the actual airsoft game my total experience is IDPA style shooting in my backyard with friends in this respect I can say that this armor works will perform excellent… And you should definitely get one for your collection!

"Really enjoy this gun, I wish it was a little bit more powerful. As a sidearm this pistol is really fun to play with and its really conformable.

"Fun little compact pistol. Very smooth on the firing and blowback action. Full metal upper slide and polymer lowers. Inner barrel is 81mm. The small size makes this a great gun for the smaller player, or a back up to your sidearm that can be easily attached to your vest. The FPS is around 305 with Green Gas and 310-320 with Co2. Settles in at just above 300 FPS with both types throughout most of the gas charges. Range is around 50 feet with decent accuracy within that distance. Not bad for a small compact. AW's optimized gas valve system works well. You will get 50+ rounds with both gas types, so 2+ mags full. These are true compact size pistols so the grip is shorter than a standard GLOCK, and the barrel is about 1 inch shorter than standard. The included Green Gas magazine fits perfectly inside the hand grip but the Co2 magazine will stick out of the bottom when used. AW does make a full size GLOCK style named the VX-7. It has a 12mm longer barrel (93mm) and a longer grip that fits Co2 magazines inside. You can check their website for the full line of the VX series pistols. These VX series guns WILL NOT fit into any of the hard shell GLOCK holsters due to the bulky rail design. I had to use a soft holster and found that the Bulldog brand size 15 holster is perfect for both the compact and standard size frames.

"I’ve had this pistol for a little over a week and it’s not bad.
Pros
Comes with dummy optic (if you get it optic ready)
Not very strong blowback (enough to catch the bb)
Conserves gas well
Good build quality (for the price)
Came greased
Cons
Only works above 40°F (not a big deal)
Good for price
Overall 4/5

"Very fun to use, Has a nice weight to it, everything I've ever wanted, very affordable for what it has to offer. The magazines are sorta hard to break but I wouldn't risk dropping it when changing mags. (their pretty heavy). I haven't used it on the field yet but it does seem like a decent beginner level pistol at its price and viability.
Cons:
-Non-removable orange tip (not serious issue)
-The barrel moves ALOT, making hitting targets very difficult (could be just my handgun only or it was damaged in shipping.)
-This pistol doesn't fit in any hard shell holsters. Unless you can find one made for this specific model. The underbarrel picatinny rail prevents it from fitting, and it is non-removable.
-The magazine has a lot of weight to it and the slide release catches the slide when it is racked.
-The magazine release button is pretty bulky and bothers people with bigger fingers but isn't that much of a burden.
-changing C02 isn't too difficult but takes a while.
I couldn't find a full review from any video but this was my take on it after buying it.
Final Rating 7.7/10

"So far, The pistol is decent. I would say its a good starting sidearm. Since everybody and their mothers do lists of pros/cons, So will I.
Pros:
- Glock 19 but cheaper.
- Ability to use both G19 and G17 mags, However, G17 mag does not work properly. (See cons for more info)
- Ability to use both CO2 and Gas mags.
- IMO, Best looking stock G19 pistol.
Cons:
- EF Glock 17 CO2 Mags do not cycle the slide. First shot is perfect, Then I had to rack the slide every time I shot.
(This may just be my VX9, I also do not have any CO2 G19 Mags on me, Once I get some, I will post in the
comment section confirming whether its my gun that doesn't work, or the CO2 G17 mags)
- Does not work in my other G19 Holsters, Extremely tight fit, Almost pulls my holster off its MOLLE mount when I
try to draw.
(This is after 2 weeks of playing with it and dry-drawing it to try and break the holster in to fit the gun)
- There is a metal bar on the bottom rail preventing use of pistol flashlights.
(You can mount a flashlight, But it would have to be on the very far front slot)
3 Star because of its inability to properly mount pistol flashlights, And usage of hard-shell holsters.
Overall, The VX9 is a decent starter sidearm.
