"I have been using and testing these for a while now they do improve accuracy over stock just make sure to use lock tight on the grub screws the adapter works great however they aren’t buy any means good looking so depending on what you goal you may or my not like them

"This is a pretty good fixed barrel for tm 5.1's. The grub screws that fix the hopup to the outer barrel dig into the metal of the hopup and leave a circular groove that holds everything together really well. No movement when shooting, fits well with the stock slide, and helps with shot consistency a ton. You'll probably want to thread lock the 11mm to 14mm adapter to the barrel to prevent it from unscrewing while firing or installing a tracer/comp/mock suppressor. I'd say it's a good buy, but I'm not going to say it's worth 85$.

Don’t buy this barrel. Mine shipped with one of the two set screws that you need to lock it in place. After trouble shooting this and purchasing another one off the internet, I was finally able to put the barrel in my gun. I think there was only one good thing about this barrel, which is that it has threads. After about 50 shots on my hi capa, the brand new barrel shot right out of my gun. After this happened, I did some research and learned that this is due to a horrible design flaw since the screws are the only thing holding the barrel in. I also figured out that there is a DIY fix where you drill holes into the hopup and locktite the screws, which I was not going to do.

What did we learn from this huge waste of time?? Unless you have the energy to drill holes into your hopup so your brand new defective outer barrel will stay in your gun, SAVE YOUR TIME AND BUY THE AIRSOFT MASTERPIECE ONE!!

"So I bought this barrel for my Tokyo Marui hi capa was being upgraded as it should eventually, and I decided to buy this barrel because it seemed to work. I threw it on, shot a magazine and the barrel flew off completely. I put it on again, same result. It is a good quality barrel, but check your hop up unit to see if it fits, it didn’t for my Maple Leaf unit and it might not for yourse, so I would stick to a more traditional one such as a Cow Cow barrel or Airsoft Masterpiece. The screws just suck so get a different one unless it works with your unit.

"Bought this barrel with the red design in particular. Looks good! However, it only shipped with one out of the two grub screws, and it didn't ship with my standard cap either, only the threaded outside. :(

"I'm very disappointed with this barrel.
As another reviewer stated, the barrel has a tendency to fly off when shooting. The grub screws it comes with gets loose very quickly when shooting no matter how tight you make the screws. I tightened the grub screws so much to the point where there is a deep groove in my BRASS hopup, and even then the barrel does not stay on and flies off after a couple hundred shots.
To put even more salt on the wound, the paint on this barrel is so cheaply put on that the paint on the bottom of the barrel completely peeled off just from racking the slide a couple times.

I suggest avoiding this barrel and just buying the Airsoft Masterpiece one. The AM one is cheaper, higher quality, and doesn't rely on screws to stay in place.
